Davao Central Convenience Store

There are many Central Convenience Stores in Davao City, this is a chain which has been about for a while and they sell everything from cigarettes through to a range of groceries. They open long hours and provide an excellent service to the people in the area, always at good prices.

I have to say though that the facade of this one does look a little faded compared to the 7-Eleven stores which are now starting to spring up.

We're shopping here for some alcohol and have ask about the time for liquor band and the way the security personnel on duty that time who is "Manluob" but I'm not really sure as I haven't really read the name tag well enough treated us poorly. I even cracked a joke to lighten up the awkward atmosphere for us however she's really rotten at that time in which it baffles me since it's Christmas eve. I am a loyal customer but I guess time to jump to some store with proper customer service

When the security guard is dumb enough to know why it should not be allowed to leave a backpack with a laptop before entering, you know something's wrong. One event, me and my girl went in to buy mineral water and some orange juice, the guard blocked our way and said that I should leave the bag, with a laptop in the baggage counter. Even malls won't allow it, because they'll be held reponsible for any losses, and the guard was dumb, also, security guard, that doesn't even wear the hat and sits on products like a 'tambay' is one of the dumbest thing I've ever seen. It's a shame.

Anyone who get's to this store and finds a guard who will block your way and tell you to leave your bag with a laptop, must immediately take the name of the guard and call the management.
