Red Planet Davao

Second time here. Friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel and rooms are clean. Soap hinges were broken but still usable. On the ground floor is our favorite Camp Burgrill. Delicious food and coffee.

My overall stay was worthwhile. Red Planet is really consistent in terms of service---Staff were all accommodating and friendly.

Just make sure to bring your personal hygiene kit as the hotel will not supply you with one, although there are soap and shampoos available. Their dispensers are not that reliable.

Stayed more than once at this hotel for this year. One thing I want to suggest to the management and to the owner is to expand their parking space for vehicles. It is somehow disappointing that the parking space was limited considering the number of guests and rooms they have. They should also consider that guests from all over Mindanao have driven their vehicles for comfort only to find out that the parking space is a "first come, first park" basis. I almost did not have a parking space when I arrived but thankfully a vehicle left and I hastily parked my vehicle. On the other hand, the staff were welcoming and great, I was then assigned in a room in less than 15 minutes. It was overall a good stay.

Red planet is very affordable and cheap, for a 3 star hotel, parking space isn't that much but the rooms are nice for a quick stay. They have a dispenser for soap, shampoo and conditioner in one liquid, has a hot and cold shower but the temperature is hard to balance.

Door on the comfort room either covers the shower but shows the sink w/ the toilet to the hallway or covers the entire bathroom from the hallway. Hopefully they can have another door for it, also not glass because the edges aren't blurred apparently.

They have a socket for hair dryers, lights are good except for the double room that has a fan. Now when the fan blades turn, it simulates a flickering effect on the ceiling lights which make it a bit annoying

It's clean, cozy and convenient. I also like it's ambience.

A hotel accommodation that is utilitarian in design. Red Planet was able to give excelIent service that often are not accorded to folks who have not much in life. They give more than your money's value. I will give it the maximum rating🙂

Good service, friendly and helpful staff. The room has free Wi Fi, satellite TV, air conditioning, shower and toilet combined, double bed, safe, entrance and exit to the room using a card reader.

Red Planet Hotel is, perhaps, one of the best hotels in Davao City. The staff were friendly and the hotel's amenities were top notched. In terms of the room itself, it was a little too small for my liking. It offers two twin beds, a massive mirror, a coat rack, a small safe, and a nicely designed washroom (the shower actually has a shower door--a pretty nice touch for a hotel in its price range).

The hotel also provided us with free breakfast (4 days). This was composed of a selection of Filipino cuisines. Although I would have preferred to just have a cup of coffee, two slices of toasted bread for breakfast, and some fruits, I felt like the hotel actually went out of its way as it definitely did not skimp on the size of the servings (I guarantee you that they were pretty generous).

Good hotel for the average people. Not much going on but gets the job done. Good staff. Good service. Clean space. Ample amount of car parks. Fast elevators. Equip with tech. Secured. A must book if staying in Davao city for a while.

The perfect and reasonably price hotel for backpackers! 😊 I regret chosing a different place to spend my three nights I should have stayed in this hotel 😣 But nonetheless my two nights stay was worth it!😀 Cozy room, clean bedsheets and bathroom 😄 And it smells so good! 😃 The staff was very accomodating and the foods great too! 😋 Others say the rooms are small but that doesn't bother me as long as the comfortability and cleanliness levels are high. I would definitely stay here again! Two thumbs up! 🖒👍I highly recommend this place with good location. Near malls and the airport 😉😎

Same room style with Mall of Asia's. @1900php every nook n cranny of bathroom tiles are clean hands down. Bidet is a plus. Strong hot n cold shower. 2 Fresh white towels were provided. Transluscent glass bathroom doors. Premium beddings. Enough parking space at the back. After 1 hour we noticed the aircon are not functioning well transferring to another room is not a problem with a view of Mount Apo..much better :) The staff from the parking up to the front desk at 2nd floor greeted us with a smile effortlessly. One night stay at Red Planet is perfect and relaxing. Made a good choice👍

Budget friendly hotel. I find their website to be user friendly, the reservation process was easy. Staff was friendly and attentive too. Their is a cafe resto right infront of the hotel and malls are just a few minutes of walk away.

Very affordable and clean rooms. Staffs are honest too. Left my wedding ring three times. They never touched it. No in house food though. Hot water is available in the reception area. So bring lots of water and bread every time to have enough food just incase you go hungry and you dont wanna go downstairs to eat.

Thw advanced booking via app is very convenient. The room is clean, cozy, and quiet 👌🏽 commended also are the soap dispensers that reduce plastic waste. Keep it up.

Place is clean and well-maintaned. Great place to stay if you're attending conferences/meetings or if you're going to explore Davao or nearby places during the day. There are no swimming pools nor gym. It's a few minutes away from SM and Abreeza Mall.

I always stay here because it is really close to SM Lanang.
Also they provide a laundry service. Also the rooms are wonderful and clean and at a really good price.

This place is only a few blocks away from a Robinson's Place and SM Lanang. Price is cheap and the room we stayed in pretty nice.
