The pool area was a paradise, the food in the restaurants was great and the staff is courteous. The 24/7 security ensures that the place stays safe for all guests. Didn't go the spa but it looked great, the gym is clean and had enough equipment to keep up a workout all the way across the world.

The hotel is the best in town! The lobby offers comfortable sitting places for small meetings or for simply lounging. The rooms are very big, clean and has comfortable beds and pillows. Their buffet meals feature both local and international dishes. It also has a large swimming pool.

Great service. Helpful and accommodating staff. Big rooms. Comfortable bed. Absolutely delightful breakfast (buffet) with a wide range of choices. If you bring your own car, though, make sure you secure valet services. Finding a parking lot on your own can be tough.

Our third time staying in this hotel. Excellent, accommodating staff. Great breakfast buffet. All restuarants have great food and friendly, competent service. Very nice pool, spa and gym on location. The security is very tight at the entrance, they take guest security very seriously. Atmosphere inside is relaxed and cordial. Excellent customer service from the guards all the way to the concierge and desk staff. Highly recommended.

It was such a great place to hold the dinner with our clients from Europe. We all loved the ambiance and the foods plus bottomless beer! The swimming pool was also nice. We have forgotten a bag and by the time we checked for it, it was already gone. However, the staff was very helpful and they assisted us until the bag was returned to us. Housekeeping has kept it safe for claiming when they saw an abandoned bag outside the restaurant. Good job and so kind hearts ❤

Awesome place! We had a great experience. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Great hospitality from the moment we reached the hotel. The Eagles Bar has great live music. Bartender and waitress were great company. I like that they have private underground parking with security. Overall I give Marco Polo a 👐!

I loved how spacious and clean the rooms are. We booked the room really late but still the staff were really helpful and kind especially to my grandma. The facilities are well maintained, which no doubt is the reason why they're still one of the best hotels in Davao. My grandma almost didn't even wanna leave.

I've been to Marco Polo hotels in Asia and this one is comparative to the service standards and it's also good that it is much lower in terms of cost. I guess they do set their rates relative to the city it is doing business with.

Hotel amenities have all the usual stuff of 5 star conveniences. Spacious room. Internet is good with wifi in the room and lobbies. We have all we need here. Recommended.

I'm not sure if this is unique to this hotel but they are very strict in security checks, inspecting every pocket of your hand carried bags. I do find it odd that if they find a camera, they will ask you to turn it on and take picture of anything to prove that it is working. They are particularly doing that for larger than pocket sized cameras. First time I've seen that and I have no idea what they are trying to prove. A little interruption but that's OK for security. When they do recognize you as guest already, they won't ask you to do that with the camera again.

Their function rooms for training activities are elegant. This specific area that is near to the pool is very cozy. It is best for wedding pictorial I guess. Their staff are very helpful in assisting the needs of their guest. The hotel is very clean and accessible to other places in the city.

This hotel offers a lot, from big comfortable rooms to amazing breakfast buffets. The staff are very accommodating and the location is very convenient. The service is superb from the time you enter until you leave the hotel. The rooms are good and always clean. The price is not cheap but you’ll find good deals online. Food in their cafes/restaurants are great and very delightful. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻👌

The Marco Polo Hotel in Davao City is one of my fave spots whenever I am in the metro. I love their entrance and lobby, feels like royalty. The lobby is also quite sophisticated, with huge columns and sofas to relax while waiting for your turn on the front desk.

The Lobby Lounge is my regular spot, whether it be sipping a cup of coffee an in the afternoon before my Masters Class at the Ateneo de Davao University just across the street or drinking a glass of wine in the evening after an exhausting session. There are pianists and singers at night, which makes your stay more relaxing.

Their bar (Eagle's I think) is also energizing, with Rhum Coke or Piñacoladas on your table and that upbeat tune of the band.

Their bistro on the second floor (I think) is overlooking the pool. I like having my salad lunch or a steak dinner here, too!

I have checked in to this hotel many times over in the last few years. I was even here watching together with my sister and Mother during the coronation of Catriona Gray as Miss Universe.

One memorable thing I enjoyed most while here was during the wedding of my dear friends, Mildred and Epoy (See photos). They had their wonderful wedding reception at the Grand Ballroom. It was decorated so beautifully, adding more vibrance to the already amazing ceremonies. We had fun and enjoyed the celebration prepared by the couple.

Their rooms are quite large, comfortable and smells good. Albeit quite an old building, their amenities and facilities, including parking, is still fully functional and classy. The room I always get is facing the Davao Gulf and Samal Island, which adds up a lot to the whole hotel experience.

It is sad that the hotel is still temporary closed because of the pandemic. I cannot wait to go back and enjoy again the special moments in this

We enjoyed our stay in Marco Polo a 5 star hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. It was all carpeted too so you can enjoy going around barefoot. Needs a bit of updating but overall,. I would like to suggest to have a one big room for a big family since we r so many like 8-10 pax.
Staff are so helpful especially to my mom. I'd recommend this to my friends.

This is one of the best hotel I have slept over. This is the first hotel that I visited which the owner of this is the king of Brunei. It is one of the best when it comes to world class customer service. Davao City's best hotel in town. They have the best coffee and food. A lot of options. Pizza is one of the best.

It is a 5 star hotel in everyway. The staff are kind and welcoming you are made to feel at home right away. The beakfest buffet is a must. Location is right next to the night market some great food and drinks there, a must try. This hotel will not disappoint, truly 5 star.

Lovely hotel, fancy entrance and great service. Complimentary items in the room and a lot of places to relax and enjoy your stay. Only 1 thing I would change is a fan in the bathroom, but other than that it was great!

Just had 5 nights at the Marco Polo and cannot fault it. The staff were helpful and polite, the pool bar was excellent and the gym is a really good facility. Breakfast was was very good and lots of choice we ate in the Polo Bistro and found the menu a good mix of Eastern and Western dishes and excelent value for money and again service really good. Would strongly recommend it.

The rooms are very spacious. It even have working table unlike the other 4 star hotel in Davao City. It is also near malls and public market most especially the Roxas Night Market. Staffs were super friendly and accommodating.
