Ermita Hill

Looks like a teacher’s camp. They had entrance fee worth 15 pesos. Many store and picnic area. You can see the sceneric view of whole Baler, Aurora. Same like when you are in Tagaytay City.

You learn a bit of history at Ermita Hill when families sought refuge to this high land after a tsunami hit Baler in the 1700s. Statues reenacting a family climbing uphill is a good tourism photo spot.

This place is one of the must - visit tourist spot in Baler. The park is located at the top of the hill as you can see the over looking Baler Bay and the whole town of Baler. There are a lot of things to do within the park premises. You can do small hike to reach the big cross. You can make a lot of photo opportunity in every corner of the hill because of the nice garden, landscape, cottage, forest, overlooking beach, and chapel. You can do picnic under the sun. You can jog or run around. You can also do camping by putting up tent. This place is secured since it is protected by the government. The entrance fee is affordable. Furthermore, this hill is very historical because it served as a life saver of some families during tsunami a very long time ago. Once more, if you're looking for something refreshing and relaxing getaway this place is best for you.
