Light house Baler, Aurora

The coast guard is not allowing us to climb the light house for safety reasons, but it is worth it a great view you will see.

Currently it is not allow to go to the lighthouse, but you can climb to enjiy the view and take pictures!
You can park the car down for 20₱ and the fee to climb is 50₱.

You'll be having a 30 minute hike going up the lighthouse. Tour Guide is optional just remember the path that you took going up.

This is a great place to visit. A lot of beautiful views along the way and at the bottom of the lighthouse. Going up the lighthouse is not for everyone though as the trails are open and can be challenging.

We had to pay 10php per head. And the kids there volunteered to help us with the best route for 100php. Trek going up the hill was tiring but the view is breathtaking. Literally and figuratively. Hingal besh. 😅

Depending on your preference of enjoyment, the place requires a 15mins uphill trecking. The view is one of the best!

Amazing view with an great hike

To get to the lighthouse you will trek for 15 mins. i think it was restricted to climb to the top of the lighthouse but some local there made a way so that tourist can climb the lighthouse. Has a mouthed drop mountain view. Nerve wrecking expercience as go to the top of the lighthouse.Entrance 10 pesos /person. I dont think thats legal.. 😂😂😂😂

Breathtaking view, there was 10 or 15 pesos entrance fee in the entrance where we park our car but nung hinahanap namin yung pagbabayaran sabi nung ranger Free na po mam. Amazing free entrance. You won't get lost dahil my trail na susundan.

We are from India, were on a trip to Philippines country in August 2017 and did one of those trips here as well. After hiking for 20 minutes, we reached this beautiful light house and believe it, we got to see amazing views all around from here. The sea looks very beautiful from here.
The view was breathtaking, it's like you're looking at a picture. The sky filled with clouds and the sea waves that toss and turn and the islets you can see from above. The terrain was a bit slippery but it was worth the hike. It is a go-to place when you come visiting Baler. This is a great place to visit. Built on one of the hills of Sitio Tibag, the lighthouse served as a beacon for the sea vessels. However, due to negligence and being timeworn, new lighthouses were constructed (one on Cemento beach and another at Dicasalarin) instead of rehabilitating it. In addition to its white color, you can’t miss the lighthouse along the road of Diguisit because it’s well elevated. There’s no clear trail from the shore. The lighthouse is just less than 15 minutes away, the local said. Well, what we’ve experienced was more than 15 minutes of wandering and snapping pictures (hehe). With an exception from a pretty steep climb at the bottom of the hill, it’s an easy ascend after that, even a newbie can climb without a hitch. In fact, we bumped into a family going downhill. After a less than 10 minutes, we’ve finally reached the lighthouse. It is 3-storeys high and has accessible concrete stairs. Since it’s no longer operational, the beacon on its top is already dismantled, but the solar panel is still intact. It may no longer serve its original purpose, but the lighthouse has a new calling in tourism as it attracts visitors who want sightseeing. It is recommended to hike early in the morning to avoid the irritating heat of the sun. Admission: P10 per person

Getting at the top is tiring, but the view is worth it. I recommend bringing water and food, but please don't leave your trash.

The view is worth the arduous climb to the top! You can get a local guide to help you through the climb for just PhP 10 per head. It really helped to have a guide because the way is very steep and it's very rough since the trail is practically just rocks laid out to for a path. If you don't already have water with you, (you're definitely going to need water for this) the guides sell a bottle for PhP 20. Lastly, if there are any couples looking to have their prenups, the guides said that you can have photoshoots in the area. Other couples have done so before and they said that music videos have also been shot there. This place is definitely a must-see!

The place is naturally adventurous to reach. But the upper view is exceptional. Must visit.

The climb up is very tiring under the scorching sun but once you get to the top of the lighthouse, you'll be greeted by the breath-taking scenery and will immediately realize that every sweat is worth it!

worth the hike. the view is of the pacific. the sea breeze is so refreshing.

It is a light trekking, I recommend it for those who are fond of high site-seeing.

It's just 20-30 mins walk and it worth it when you reach the top.
