Doña Jovita Garden Resort

We visited last October 25, 2023 (Wednesday) for a short night swimming. There were four of us and the basic cottage had more than enough room to accommodate us and our things. We paid 1,400 pesos total (100 per head entrance fee, 1k for the cottage for 11 hours). We arrived at 6 PM and left at around 11 PM. Their cats and dogs are friendly and not feral (just don't hurt them, of course). Their restaurant was closed but it was a minor inconvenience because we easily ordered food through foodpanda. There were two pools open when we visited. We stayed in Pool #2 and since it's off season, we had the pool all to ourselves. The water was comfortable, not too warm nor too cold. The shower room for women is clean and the water is also warm. The comfort rooms are clean and they have a bidet. The prep areas are also spacious and clean. Again, it's off season so we basically had the whole place to ourselves.

Doña Jovita Garden is a hot spring resort with wide parking space and has lots of swimming pool.

Visited 07/8-9/2023. We brought our pet with us. Staff are friendly and so as their rescued cats and dogs. And another plus is the way they treat their pet guests. 🥹🫶 Would definitely return to this place. Thank you for taking care of your rescued dogs. ❤❤❤ Only downside is the availability of nearby resto and fast food. Better bring your own or food delivery.

Looking for the best natural hot spring resort with many pools.. a relaxing fully green ambience, budget friendly (can bring your food) plenty of friendly dogs n cats, great garden landscapes!! .. Must visit Dona Jovita Garden. Crews are very welcoming n accommodating. rooms are spacious neat n clean affordable and accessible,very cozy n nature loving😊

Wonderful family resort with 5 swimming pools plus great discounts
on promos. Part of their profit goes to the fostering/ adopting of rescued cats and dogs. Great for staycation.

We visited to enjoy the natural springs and prepare a cookout in a pleasant open-air cottage. Though it rained, we kept warm, submerged (as much as or heat tolerances would allow), in the geothermally, not-quite-scalding spring water pools. The facilities are clean and the supplied grill made it a pleasure to cook and enjoy our feast. What's more, our visit was delightfully uncrowded and inexpensive, with manicured gardens and a pristine and mountainous surrounding landscape. We'll return!!!

Good option in Laguna for hot water pool - the place is getting better with new layout

One of the reasons we chose this place for our weekly getaway was because they were also running a shelter for rescued furbabies. This was close to our heart since we ourselves run a shelter for strays (but we have more, just have to say).

The time we visited on a weekday, we're the only guests (apart from the couple who immediately shut themselves inside their room) so imagine it is like we rented this huge, tranquil place for just php 2,000!

There are many pools (7? Not sure) as well but I think there is only one where the natural hot spring flows? That one is smaller than the other pools around but it can definitely suit our group of 10 and there is still space!

The place is well maintained and clean. The cottage, toilet, shower areas were tidy as well. We've been to other resorts where toilets seem grimy, but in here we appreciate that they were able to maintain them to be free from cobwebs or dust.

There are also many beautiful plants and flowers aside from taking in the mountain view. There's a treehouse, wishing well and grottos.

Parking is no problem. The peacock and the few roaming cats and dogs (they look so healthy and chubby) are also added attraction. I think most of the animals are inside their own big room for their safety as well.

This place is pet friendly so feel free to bring your furbaby. Fee is 100 per head, both humans and accompanying pets.

You can buy bottled drinks (softdrinks, water, beer), and chips at the entrance. They were also nice enough to lend us a mug, pitcher and the grilling station. Just bring your own charcoal.

One thing I have to say tho, is DO NOT LEAVE your food unattended (especially roast chicken). Or if I may suggest, bring a cover or hook so you can hide or hang them out of reach. Also there some mosquitoes (it is not infested with insects ha as I said, only FEW) but it did not bother me as thankfully I'm not a bug magnet, LOL.

Not crowded 😉 The place is clean and quiet. Lots of trees, also a good relaxing place while having coffee. 😙 Staff are friendly and most importantly having a lifeguard on board for every pool for 24 hours felt like the safest (most specially with kids) cause everytime we're not around they automatically watch our kids to make sure everything is just fine. Super thank you. We enjoyed our family weekend getaway ❤

Affordable, accessible, and staff are kind to pets. Perfect for a quick nature getaway with loved ones. There was also a live band when we went there.

My 3rd visit at Dona Jovita! I am glad that the place is now open! Me and my Family enjoyed our overnight stay here yesterday.

The place is tranquil. The pool is clean although there are some insects floating around because it is surrounded by trees. The rooms are decent but not super good.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We even extended our stay a few days. We were there March 2014. It wasn't crowded so it was like we had the place to ourselves!!
The room was comfortable a spacious. The hot spring water soothing, and the swimming pools fun. The staff welcoming and helpful.
We made day trips around the local area. It's beautiful there.
Also its near the International Rice Institute.

Very accessible via public commute. There are 7 pools, a few function rooms' gazebo and the rooms are Ok for its price. Service is superb. And there are lots of cats! Wellfed clean multi-colored cats roving in the area. The area is so huge though and i only saw-not smelled- the cats.

Relaxing place. Spacious. Many pools with hot spring water. With man made falls and big kid's pool with character statues that they will surely enjoy. Fulfill your tree house fantasy for they have 2! :-)

we went there on a weekday day trip and stayed on picnic hut #10. 5 stars for the staff. Front desk was all smiles. They will help you bring your things to your hut. They even filled up a small pool near our hut. And the water is REAL HOT. Once you get used to the temperature it is pure relaxation. Rates are very affordable.

They have lot of pools.And their hot spring is literally hot that you can see smoke from the water and its best at night. They have lot of rooms too. Worth your money. Highly recommended for groups for team building and wedding..

We had a lot of fun visiting Doña Joveta with my family. The place was very beautiful as well as the pool was so clean. The staff are very accommodating. 5 ⭐ to all the staff. Thank you so much.
