There is actually a gift shop located nearby for pasalubong.

Beautiful chapel and place. There were a lot of plants and it was windy when we went there. There are restrooms available and a souvenir shop.

Great little retreat full of quiet corners for contemplation, a small but impressive collection of birds but the piece-d-resistance is their shop offering handmade local products made in the area. Their mango specialties are a classic but they have now expanded their products to wines, salt dips and organic jellies. Ended up buying a chockful of their stuff for presents.

Cards not accepted which is a shame as we could have bought more!

Nice place to see the monk church and the head priest is so friendly and accommodating.

One of the most visited tourist destination in Guimaras. Visitors can visit the Church to pray and meditate or ask guidance from the monks.

The Trappist Monastery also has a gift shop where you can buy products produced by the Trappist community. Their jams and mango bars are best celler.

It also has a cafe which features Mango Flavored coffee. It has as other selection of coffee, non coffee, tea and juices.

The feel is homey and relaxing. The coffee beans came from their own farm which is on the other side of the coffee shop. The tourist guide told us these, "we pray and work to survive", and it hits home. Lovely day for a newly wed like us. 🏡

If you are looking for a calm, solemn and hollistic place, this is a place you should visit. They are manage by Monks which are very friendly and nice. They also have coffee shop, pastry factory and gift shop inside. A good place to stop-over and enjoy the serenity of the place.

This is a great stop for tourists pasalubong and for prayer.
They sell Trappist Abbey Products at their Tourist Shop.
This is a must stop when in Guimaras Island.
It's very accessible as it is just along the road.
Though it's a tourist destination, one must sincerely remember that it is a Monastery and Monks live there. Silence must be observed.

The place is so quite. I've been there many times but rn they slowly developing the place like a new cafe/restaurant ( cafe sta.hildegarda) I love the smells of their coffee and they got cakes too, tastes So good. Last visit is with a friend in highschool. The environment is so cool and fresh. They also have newest pasalubong centers. (P.s I don't have much pictures rn bc whenever I come there I just enjoy with everything you see around like their chapel and it seems so solemn) I'll be back again soon, maybe with same friend or I'll bring more company with me.

Loved this place! We visited the church and prayed. It was a great time to medidate and prayed for our journey.

Run by the monks of “Cistercian Order of the Strict Observance”, they follow the rules of St. Benedict and are known for their discipline

Cheaper to buy here directly instead of buying at the Pasalubong Centers at the City Proper

Visited after lunch and got to observe singing in the Church. They also have a gift shop with various brands.

If you want to have some peace away from the city. This a good place to go to, to pray and have coffee from their cafe.

The holy ornaments here when bought will be blessed by their resident priest

My review is focused on the Trappist Monastery gift shop, which offers export quality local baked delicacies. Items from the Trappist brand are also available at supermarkets, but it's cheaper to buy from the source. The selection is also wider compared to what is offered at the supermarkets in Iloilo City.

The Trappist mango biscocho is delightful!

Located in San Miguel Jordan Guimaras, This monastery is established in 1972, it is run by benidictine monks OCSO.
Here you can try the Famous mango bars and Mango Coffee.

Very Friendly people & nice place to buy some souvenir stuffs

Nice place, very peaceful and good for contemplating!

We went to this monastery because it is famous for monks who gave prayers to couples who want to have a child. We just tried and blessedly, we were given a child 9 months after the visit. It was fun talking to brother Peter!
