Restoran Garuda

There are very few people everytime I go here, but it could just be because I visit during off peak hours. Loved the chicken and vegetarian sate, which only costs ₱200+ for 8 sticks already. Great for post-workouts. Mee Goreng Pecel is also amazing if you love the peanut taste.

Garuda, an Indonesian gem in front of the Indonesia Embassy in Makati, serves up fantastic cuisine. While the food is undeniably great, portions may be more suitable for solo diners. The prices, however, make it a reasonable choice for a delightful culinary experience.

Their Martabak is very good but spicy. It tastes authentically Indonesian.

It’s a good place and clean, good environment as well!
Bit challenging as no parking space available right in-front of the restaurant, you need to find the parking in other area and take around 5-10 mins walk to the restaurant (it’s not really matter for me).
The taste is good, quite authentic Indonesian taste and realistic price!
Unfortunately Konro Bakar is not available, I hope next visit it will be available.

The Food is nice and it's Authentic Indonesian Food ,
we order their Original Nasi Goreng,Beef Rendang,chicken satay and Vegetable Curry. The service is acceptable, and the Restaurant is clean. Nearby no Parking need to walk 10 mins . to Restaurant..

If you're craving for authentic Indonesian food, Garuda is the best place to go to. I've been hearing a lot of nice reviews from friends who actually ate here pre-pandemic days BUT was only able to visit early this year. I know, I know ...

Food tastes delish and I do love the flavors and texture esp the fried chicken. The rendang is a family favorite also but skip this if you are not into spicy food. The satays are also good and reminds me of the stalls in Jalan Alor (I know that's not in Indonesia) that sells similar satays. There are still many dishes I am excited to try but always end up with the fried chicken and rendang because they are that good!

The staff are nice also. Btw, we also celebrated my hubby's surprise bday here and reserved half of the restaurant. It was on a Sunday so we were accommodated. Thumbs up for the good food and great service.

Parking can be a bit tricky though because you need to park at the back of the bldg. or better if you park in Makati Med then walk to the resto. We do like dining here on Sundays though because the area is not busy vs weekdays.

Spacious seating area. Good for gathering. Nice food. Spicy rendang. Price is affordable. U can order packet menu that includes an iced tea. Satay not so tasty

Best Indonesian food in Makati! I will definitely come back!!

There are some bad reviews about the staff but my experience was completely different. All staff was very friendly and constantly poured the water/cleaned the dishes. Maybe they are improving, please give them another chance.

Plus the food is excellent. I ordered the fried vegie, beef redeng and the fried rice. Portion is acceptable and the price is average (It's in the middle of Makati, this price is still comfortable)

Their beef satay padang realy yummy, soft and taste so good.

Service was excellent. Food was authentic enough and good for manila standards. Would come back again. Beef rendang was good but spicy, so stay away if you can't handle the heat. Chicken satay was average so wouldn't recommend it.

I went for dinner on a Sunday. The place is cozy and relaxing. Food was tasty, comforting and servings were sulit.

Loved their vegetarian sate padang and mie goreng. Staff are also efficient and friendly. I just didn’t like their bathroom door lock, I had to stick my fingers in to lock it and it was mucky.

Rarely do you come across authentic Indonesian restaurants in the Philippines, and that's what makes Restoran Garuda a true gem. Aside from its cool and clean interiors, great service makes this restaurant a standout. Found adjacent to the Indonesian Embassy, it's no wonder they offer a great selection of dishes served from a Halal kitchen. These are what keep us coming back over and over again.

I love the Sate here. They served like 8 sticks and it's an actual filling meal compared to sate I'd get in Singapore.

Underrated but the best Indonesian food in the metro so far!

Just located across the Indonesian embassy, I had pretty high hopes for this restaurant. And my experience was satisfactory. The food was affordable, by Makati CBD standards, and it was tasty and beautifully served. The portions were generous, and the service was quick and efficient. Will be going back here often to fulfill my cravings for some satay, nasi goreng, and ayam goreng!
