Absolutely beautiful history and amazing scenery. Definitely get a tour guide! You can walk it without one, but you won't get the amazing history and spiritual significance of this place without one. It cost about 60 bucks. Save for it if you have to, but get one for sure.

The Pisac ruins should be a highlight of any plan to visit the Sacred Valley. It isn't much of a walk to get to the ruins from the parking lot. You will see a very impressive number of mountain terraces, plus you can follow the trail to visit ruins of different styles, including some built with more randomly fitted stones, then other ruins with perfectly shaped stones tightly placed together. There are also incredible views of the towns below as you walk from one ruin to another.

What can I say? It was magical, mysterious, and incredible. And a big shout out to our expert and incredible guide Edgar Yepez for the incredible experience and lessons about the origins, history, and culture behind the Inca people of Machu Picchu.

Easy to cover, not crowded at all (we say a max of 10 people during put visit, so it's pretty much for yourself. This complex has multiple archelogical sites, which are very interesting. Make sure to take good pictures of the map, since you can get lost fairly easy.

Not too crowded but breathtaking scenery of the sacred valley and Inka agriculture. There are some ruins but the scenes are much nicer than other archeological sites (besides Machu Picchu of course). The hike up to the top has quite a few stairs but it was worth it.

We visited here as part of our group tour and it was just amazing. Having our local tour guide providing in depth knowledge about the history of the ruins was fantastic and well worth the drive up the hill, and all the walking tracks. Definitely recommend taking toilet paper 🧻 as it is very common to find toilets that do not have any. Plenty of vendors outside trying to sell all types of souvenirs and drinks etc, depending on if you need anything, there's also plenty of shops down in Pisaq.

As part of Sacred Valley tour, we stopped here in the evening. Unfortunately it rained for a bit, making the path muddy. So make sure, you carry a poncho when you go for this tour. The history is interesting and the views are great even when it rains. When it stopped for a moment, we took out our ponchos out for some great pictures. You can also see some holes in the mountains which Incas used as burial place for dead.

Worth the drive up the hill. This site is well preserved and is relatively easy to walk around, as long as you can handle the elevation.

This is a beautiful inca site. It tells about the history of farming and civilization. I was amazed to learn about the burial practices of the ancient Incas where the b buried the dead bodies in the mountains.

Beautiful remains of a large Incan ceremonial complex with terraces, watchtowers, guard posts and residences in spectacular mountain setting.

Pisac!! This is an amazing Peruvian town in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and a must visit on your to-do list during your trip to Cusco and Sacred Valley. I recommend getting yourself a guide for a better understanding of the history behind the place.

Really impressive ruins and accessible by walking from the centre of town. Recommend walking over taking a tour as you can start early and arrive before the masses.

Amazing views from the top and entrance included with boleto turístico. Takes around 4 hours in total so get there as soon as it opens at 7:45/8am.

Huge archeological site. You could spend the whole day here. We decides to take a taxi to the archeological site. The sites were spectacular. I think we only saw about 60% of it over a 2km hike. Others opt to take a hike up and down from Pisac. We didn't have guide, but took a lot of pictures, we will ask Google the history of the place.

Beautifully sight and make sure you have cash money if you want to buy tickets. You can spend hours here, just looking around, but 1 hour is also fine. Afterwards we bought corn cob, it is delicious!

Fully recommend this site. We took a taxi to the upper bus car park then walked back to Pisac via Inti Watana which is a spectacular Pre-Inca megalithic site in a gap between the peaks. After than we took the trail back to Pisac. Decent walk but worth it.

Amazing ruins that should not be overlooked. Highly recommend going to the upper parking and hiking all the way down (2.5 hours). Amazing views and history.

Awesome Inca period site covering a huge area. We entered the site at it's highest entrance and after touring the main ruins in the he vicinity of that entrance we followed the well-sign posted path all the way down to the very picturesque village of Pisac. It seems not many people choose to use this path because we passed only about six people en-route. This we we thought strange because the path passes through a number of interesting ruins and some great terraces. Highly recommended both for the ruins and the 2 hour walk.
