Cataratas de Aguas Calientes

Great little "hike" to get the blood pumping and acclimate your body to the altitude of Aguas Calientes. The waterfall is refreshing and well worth the 25-30 minute walk up the hill. Honestly, las cataratas are much more interesting than the hot springs. I recommend checking it out, especially if you are doing the bus to Machu Picchu but still want to get a mini adventure in!

Beautiful waterfall were you can swim

Doskonałe miejsce na krótki spacer jeśli macie chwilę do spędzenia w Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Trasa jest łatwa, wiedzie w malowniczej dolinie wśród drzew, dżungli górskiej i śpiewu ptaków i szumu potoku. Rewelacja. Dochodzi się do głośnego i chłodzącego wodospadu. Wejście jest tanie i dość wcześnie zamykane (w maju o 17) , trasa przechodzi obok ciepłych basenów.

Excelente lugar. Para relajarse luego de haber ido a a Machu Picchu.

Excelente complemento à ida as termas de águas calientes. Fica apenas alguns minutos de caminhada. Vale a pena tomar banho gelado na cachoeira e depois cair nas termas. O valor é o mesmo , junto com as termas, 20 Soles

Paid to see the waterfall for s/20 per person. The ticket counter made no mention about the waterfall being closed. We trekked our way to the attendant who took our ticket and clipped off the perforated section of the ticket. We then asked where the waterfall was and he said it was closed. I asked for a refund because we weren’t going there to swim and we weren’t intending to. This guy sent me back to the ticket office to make the request. They lady was so rude and said it was not possible because the ticket was torn off. After 15 minutes of back and forth I hiked back, got the perforated numbered portion and ran back again. This time another lady arrived with a huge attitude yelling at me. Now she’s telling the original lady to not give me a refund and they proceeded to give me s/20 refund instead of s/40 because we entered and they took s/10 per person. These people are scams. No signs anywhere that says waterfall is closed. Go at your own risk.

Es una estafa , fuimos al lugar para ir a la cascada y compramos las entradas pero cuando ingresamos despues de cortarnos las entradas nos dijeron que estaba cerrada, quisimos una devolución y no quisieron darnos nada, encima la mujer de la entrada mintió y dijo que nos había avisado.
Si van preguntes si esta la cascada abierta primero.
