We stopped right here on our way up to visit the ruins because we were craving chicharron and it was the only place in town that had it. It was a good choice because the food was absolutely fantastic. I chewed that thing all the way down to the bone and then I chewed up a bunch of the bone. I didn't want it to end. My son got the rainbow trout which was also very good.

They have a play area for kids with a trampoline, swings, and sapo (ask the waitress for the coins). Sit and relax. The air is clean, the sky is blue, the mountains are big and the clouds are fluffy. I like to look across the valley at the big mountains and see the horizontal lines that have come from farming and agriculture and think to myself that humans have been working this land for well over 1,000 years.
