Pedregal Ecolodge

Shocked it took me almost a year to write this review! Teresa holds such a beautiful space for the perfect relaxation and care. I came to Pedregal Ecolodge after a traumatic event and was able to stay a few weeks in her beautiful lodge. Pictures, words, nothing will do the location justice. Also if she gives the option for her home cooked food say YES! She is a phenomenal cook all the food fed my soul as much as the location did. So grateful. Also Illampu the dog has a special place in my heart.

The place is a small heaven on earth. We stayed several nights and it was so peaceful! The garden is magnificent, and Theresa is a wonderful host. We can only recommend to come there, especially if you want to be near to the nature.

Pedregal is a wonderful place nestled between the mountains of the Andes. I love the flowers, the edible garden, the incredibly silent atmosphere that's interrupted only by the wonderful birds chirping and playing in the garden. Loved my time here, it was a real rejuvenation of the soul. Teresa, the host, is also a wonderfully calm teacher with amazing cooking skills!!

Pedregal is right by the mountains of the Sacred Valley, it feels like you are on a natural retreat. I really enjoyed Teresa's cooking, she is very vegetarian and vegan-friendly and makes some epic meals with fresh ingredients from her garden and local markets. I stayed here for a few weeks while exploring the area. There's a ton of hikes, walks, and meanders in the area: Huchuy Qosqo Ruins, Catarata de Arin, Lares Thermal baths, Inkariy museum, Calca, and Urubamba.

The pictures just don't do this place justice- not only is the property beautiful ( incredible 360 views of the Andes) but Teresa is a wonderful host with an amazing story. Great central spot to anything you would want to do in Sacred Valley. Could not reccomend this place enough

When traveling we are sometimes gifted with special encounters that can’t be found in guide books or museums. Our four days in the Sacred Valley (between Cusco and Machu Picchu Peru) was spent at Pedregal Ecolodge, located about half a kilometer’s walk (or extremely bumpy ride) up a small canyon. The owner, a single mother, had grown up in the area but her family was forced to leave in the 80’s when the Shining Path made life too dangerous. 10 years ago she returned to build a new homestead. Her vision is a compound that houses a local elementary school and a simple hotel for tourists. The hotel will support the costs of the school along with whatever donations the children’s families are able to make. We enjoyed the surroundings and camaraderie so much that we extended our stay.

This place is amazing! I have been here for over a week and there are so many things to do here. Aside from staying in Teresa’s beautiful ecolodge with hot water, comfortable beds, amazing views and delicious food, the amount of day trips you can do are endless. I HIGHLY recommend staying here!!! I am definitely coming back soon!!

Si buscas desconectarte y recargar energías este es el lugar ideal, dirigido por una hospedadora de lujo. Teresa hace que te sientas en casa y con ganas de volver. Se toma muy en serio la comida y su balance para que estés bien alimentado y sin malestar alguno.

Mágico lugar para descansar y desconectarte de todo. Las cabañas son amplias e hipercomodas! Teresa y su hijo te atienden como a rey, la pizza deliciosa y el desayuno ESPECTACULAR con ingredientes de la casa. Y para rematar el sauna de piedras y la fogata bajo las estrellas

Me encantó el pedregal! Es un ambiente muy bien cuidado y las vistas son únicas. Teresa fue una excelente anfitriona, siempre dispuesta a atender cualquier consulta o solicitud para hacer mejor tu estadía.

Es un lugar fantástico, perfecto para desconectar y visitar el valle. El hospedaje al detalle. Teresa es una gran anfitriona.

El Pedregal es un lugar maravilloso para desconectar y estar en contacto con la naturaleza. Muy cerca de los lugares de interés de la zona y perfectamente comunicado en autobús.

Maravillosa experiencia la dueña y sus servicios son de primera, es vegana y ama el ecosistema y la maravilla de la naturaleza, muy preocupada por sus huéspedes que estén siempre confortables

Hermoso lugar alejado del bullicio se respira quietud rodeado de pristina naturaleza
