This hotel was absolutely beautiful and in such a perfect location. Stunning views everywhere around you.

We enjoyed delicious meals and happy hour at the bar and restaurant.

The night astrology tour experience was incredible - even better than we could have imagined. We were so glad we decided to join! Highly recommend.

If I could live here I would. Gorgeous, secluded location, in the middle of Sacred Valley. The rooms didn’t let a single detail go untouched. The food was impeccable. I found my new favorite wine. I want to come back every year!

Recently, I had the pleasure of spending a night at the Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba, a stunning retreat nestled in the heart of the Sacred Valley in Peru. From its exceptional facilities to its courteous staff and enlightening guided tours, the Hacienda is an epitome of Peruvian charm and hospitality.

The immediate allure of the Hacienda is its mesmerizing location. Surrounded by a verdant tableau of rolling hills and blue skies, the retreat offers a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley's untouched beauty. The scene from my room was nothing short of a live painting, capturing the unspoiled grandeur of the Peruvian landscape.

The accommodation at Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba beautifully merges modern convenience with traditional aesthetics. My room was clean and comfortable, complemented with subtle local decor that echoed the country's rich cultural heritage. Every convenience, from high-speed Wi-Fi to cozy bedding and well-stocked amenities, was thoughtfully provided for a pleasant stay.

The Hacienda is lauded for its comprehensive range of facilities. The on-site restaurant serves up an array of delectable Peruvian cuisine, using locally sourced ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. The fitness center, though not expansive, is well-equipped for a solid workout. The communal areas, adorned with local art and artifacts, provide comfortable spaces for relaxation and socializing.

One standout facility is the Earth to Table concept, where guests can pick their own vegetables and herbs from the organic garden, providing an authentic farm-to-fork experience.

During my brief stay, I participated in a guided tour through the surrounding landscape. This was an enriching venture, with the knowledgeable guide sharing intriguing insights about the local ecosystem and history.

These tours are carefully curated to provide guests with an immersive experience of the Peruvian countryside.
What truly sets Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba apart, however, is its exceptional staff. Their warmth and hospitality were apparent from the moment I stepped in. Every need, from room service requests to tour arrangements, was attended to with a smile and the highest level of professionalism. Their genuine commitment to guest satisfaction significantly enhanced the overall appeal of the Hacienda.

In conclusion, Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba is a delightful blend of natural beauty, cultural immersion, and warm hospitality. Its commitment to providing an authentic Peruvian experience is evident in every aspect, from its facilities to its guided tours and exceptional staff. My brief stay left a lasting impression, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful retreat to anyone seeking a genuine encounter with the heart of Peru.

Best Hotel!!!
We stayed in this hotel and the one In Aguas Caliente! Oh my God! In our 19 days Adventure/Vacation this were our favorites hotels! Great locations, eco friendly and built around their environment! Super friendly people! They received you in the hotel and they don’t want you to do anything but enjoy! I asked for and off-the menu Chaufa rice with chicken and they did it! The room was one of the most beautiful we had ever stayed in our life together with the view ( we usually stay in a 4-5 stars hotels). Tried here my first Pisco Sour and my wife and I got hooked for the rest of our stay in Peru! What a service, plus service, plus location, and more location and the attention to details! This is a measure of how a hotel service should be! Our only disappointment was that we had a heavy calendar and couldn’t stay LONGER!!! Thank you everyone from Inca Terra! You guys should be proud of the hotel and of the people working there!

Excellent dinner as well as breakfast. Julio at front desk and resto staff provided excellent service. Superb local decor all over!

Without doubt a world class hotel in the most stunning location. This is a luxury experience that you will not forget. The rooms are amazing all with incredible views. The food is great and staff could not be more attentive. There are a range of visits, such as birdwatching, many of which are free. A stay at this hotel will stay with you forever.

My favorite place to stay in Peru by far. Gorgeous views, great trails... The service here is beyond any I've ever encountered. There is someone there for you constantly. They have 4pm tea service, an incredible bar and restaurant. The views are extraordinary from the lounge and restaurant. The food is amazing! The rooms were the best I've been in. Beautiful! Great bathrooms! We got a gift, chocolates, music selected for us... So much to list!

Incredible hotel. The views are stunning, the staff is amazing, and the rooms themselves were among the best I have ever stayed in. And aside from all of that, the hotel also offers complimentary micro-excursions on a daily basis, such as bird-watching and short hikes.

I really can't recommend this place enough--it was perfect.

Simply astounding hotel. To stay here and Los Portales in Cusco in the same (Llama Travel) holiday is quite strange with the latter being a pretty basic tourist hotel and the Inkaterra Hacienda being totally luxury with an incredible eye for detail.

From the hot towels and sofas welcome through to the spa, guided walks and beautiful public areas, I find it hard to criticise this hotel.

Perched up a hillside with the main block surrounded by individual bungalows, it is more deserving of a sweeping country-house style drive way than the rough dirt track so typical of the area.

All Peruvian style with dark beams, lots of ethnic art and solid wood everywhere. Main building rooms are mostly arranged around a lovely central courtyard which reminded me of cloisters. There is no reception- the staff meet you at the door and sit you in the lounge for a welcome talk.

Then taken to your room- wow! We stayed in the main building and each door off the cloisters served two rooms. The rooms are enormous with a bed which is ridiculously oversized, sofa, table. Easy chairs etc. The best safe I've ever seen- fixed into a drawer with a lid that opens upwards and could contain laptop, handbag and much else.

To give some idea of the 'uniqueness' of the hotel, the 'do not disturb' sign is a basket of herbs that is to be placed outside the door.

The room was quiet (except when the people next door went through the lobby) and well lit with floor spots in each corner, lots of lamps and two spots in the ceiling. The bathroom was equally well presented with full length lighting up the mirror sides, fabulous hair dryer and a shower with decent pressure. Towels were soft and decent sized.

Breakfast is excellent with a good cooked menu as well as small buffet.

Niggles? During the introduction talk they did not mention that there is a decent bar menu. Hence on the first night none of our party (about 10 people) found it and those who ate in the main restaurant were disappointed. On the second night one person found the bar meal menu at the back of the cocktail menu and instantly 8 orders went in. The bar food was good.

If I could afford it (which I can't) I would love to stay longer at the Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba and try out the spa and included walks and lectures. If you get the chance you will not be disappointed.

This IS the MOST AMAZING 'hotel' I have EVER stayed at. Period. That's the short of it.

The long??? Wow. Greeted by lit lanterns and blankets, our staff greeted us and walked us inside. Smiles included. It is as if they wanted to be there. We were checked in to our room. Told where it would be. And a golf cart took us to the doorstep of our private cottage. I about fell over right then and there.

Upon opening the door I couldn't believe my eyes. A cute little dining table, a closet that turned into a mini bar and fridge, a FIRE PLACE, and it was a real one, a bathroom that was just about as bit as the living quarters of the room. Separate restroom and separate shower. Heated towel rack and robes. Low lighting to enhance softness. Back out in the living area was a couch and 2 chairs right next to the fire place.

A patio to die for. Stars, blankets, etc... A quiet night sent us to sleep happily.

The breakfast was amazing. The eggs benedict especially.

Bar was amazing with amazing staff.

Super clean and comfortable place. Some stairs to climb to your cottage but if that doesn't meet your fancy request a golf cart to pick you up. They don't mind, it is why they are there.

There is very little around. Bring your own items you want so that you can solo it in your cottage. Meaning drinks, food, etc.... There is a full bar and restaurant with amazing options as well. And staff eagerly await to serve you. (But not too eagerly... pleasant people.) There are some rooms in the main hotel area as well but for the best experience got for the private cottage.

Truly an amazing experience. I can't say enough kind things. I recommend this place tens times over. If only I could turn my own home into an oasis such as this.

If you are looking for a remote, quiet, 5-star experience, you’ve found it here. It was a 90-minute drive from Cusco, but the hotel van met us at the airport, provided water, and gave us a nice tour while we drove. When we arrived, the staff knew us already and treated us like family. Everything was perfect, from the facilities, the food, the bar, the spa, the hiking (directly from the hotel), the rooms, and the views! This hotel makes our very favorite Pisco Sours (and we had a lot in Peru).

Love this beautiful hotel. Located in the heart of Sacred Valley, surrounded by mountains 360, its feng shui is off the chart :)

The room is huge and comfortable and with great views. The breakfast and dinner were great. The services were friendly and helpful.

This is the best hotel we stayed during a 3-week tour in Peru.
