Mesa 7 Restaurante

This restaurant was recommended by Alexander, of Machu Picchu Best Tour Guide company. I had a delicious lunch—stuffed avocado & spaghetti. I’m vegetarian. Tasty ice cream and friendly service. This restaurant is recommended ✨.

Mesa 7 is right across the pedestrian bridge from the train station. It's where our guide for our soon after Machu Picchu tour recommended we eat lunch. I was very appreciative of the recommendation because my girlfriend and I both loved this place. In fact, she eats fish 90 percent of the time for her protein and will never forget this place because she said it was the best Trout she has ever had. Everything else was good or great, but that is high praise from her. I had the alpaca, and it was delicious. They also start you off with some chips and corn.

The staff was attentive and so nice. It was a satisfying way to start one of the most memorable tours of our life. Hope you like it too :-)

After a rainy visit to Machu Picchu was happy to find this restaurant. Sat outside on the balcony with nice view of the stream.

Food was fresh and good along with the service.

We ate here twice because it was soooo good! The menu is 20 soles and so worth it because it comes with amazing appetizers (try the trout ceviche or tiradito de trucha) and the main plates are delicious as well. The pisco sour was one of the best we had on our trip and the cappuccino was also excellent. Highly recommended if you are in Aguas Calientes.

The food was sooo good and the price was very reasonable! I would definitely recommend this place.

I am writing this review as i enjoy my arroz chaufa with meat. My wife ordered the ceviche de trucha. We also has the causa with chicken. All 3 plates are delicious and the service is excellent

The perfect place for a meal in Machu Picchu. Reasonable prices, delicious flavor and an amazing view. Highly recommend it, especially after visiting the ruins. It's ideal tp just relax and enjoy a nice meal.

I didn’t eat a meal here - I just needed a place to rest before my train back to Cusco. I ordered a cortado and sat on the balcony. It was very peaceful.

Delicious!! We ordered pizza and it was so good!! Great service, very welcoming and the best part THEY WERE FAST! First place in Peru that serves fast and they turned on the oven for our pizza so yes it was fresh and just out of the oven. 5 stars!!!

Great stop on arriving at Aguas Calientes for Coca and munya tea, WiFi connection and taking in the town and atmosphere, although it can get a bit noisy. Service was fantastic, prices fair and food was excellent. Highly recommend.

This is a gem in the town.. prices are lower than the other nice places but the food is at least as good if not better...

Alpaca saltada was so so good. I tried alpaca somewhere else, and did not like it. I am happy that I tried this restaurant. Delicious cocktails as well. I would come back here.

Amazing peruvian food, make sure to try this restaurant if you are not sure where to eat. Don’t go to a bad restaurant and waste money. The owner is very nice and helpful.
