Machu Pisco Bar & Restaurant

Beautiful location on the river with a glass encased terrace. The chicharron entree was wonderful! It came with garlic home fries. My husband had the mutton which was incredibly soft and covered in a cilantro sauce. Our server Valerie was very attentive and spoke excellent English, which bridged the gap between my terrible Spanish and a great lunch. Thank you!

Delicious pizza, yummy Lemonade, their spicy sauce is the best! And wonderful service. Def check them out before burning all those calories trekking around Machu Piccu!

Yesterday we had our lunch here - because our guides brought us. First I saw the reviews and was a bit worried if that’s the wisest choice. BUT: the restaurant surprised us with wonderful dishes, fresh ingredients and an eye for the composition on the plate. I loved my stuffed avocado and also the ceviche was superb.
I am happy that we came here.

What an incredible place! It is right next to the river and offers amazing views.

We visited twice and the food was outstanding both times.

The service is great and the waitress tried her best to help out despite the communication gap.

Stopped here after hiking the Saltankay to Machu Picchu and had a wonderful meal. The view is incredible, the pisco sour (passion fruit) was delicious, and the Seco de Cordero (stewed lamb) hit the spot in places we didn’t know we needed to fill after a long week of hiking. Would come back here for sure if we ever make it back to Aguas Calientes!

One of the ladies in our tour group decided to have guinea pig. She wanted to try it just because it's a Peruvian delicacy. I stayed clear and had a quinoa sandwich which was totally delicious. The view at this particular restaurant is awesome. It overlooks the river and the big rocks with an awesome view of the mountains. The wait staff was wonderful!

Roger and Roger at the bar are awesome. They were very inviting and made some awesome drinks. They gave us tips about the city and Machu Picchu. We came back here three times in a three day trip. Try the spicy pisco sour! Thanks again Rogers.
