Susanna Inn Machu Picchu Hotel

We traveled to Peru April 2024 for 15 days, and stayed in different towns/cities of Peru. But our best stay was in Aguascalientes Peru at Susanna Inn. Right off the train to your left. With a river view from our window as well as from the breakfast dinner. The entire staff is amazing and very welcoming. The owner himself walked us and helped us with our luggage to the train station. I also want to thank the older gentleman at the receptionist desk, he was very helpful every time we had a question, he also walked us to the train station. If you travel to Aguascalientes Peru(Machu Picchu) my husband and I highly recommend you stay at Susanna Inn. Restaurants & Shopping walking distance.

They were very helpful and accommodating for our group of 9. The breakfast was perfect filling but not too heavy - they start serving at 5:00am.

Nice, comfortable and affordable place to stay in Aguas Calientes! The staff were great and the breakfast was especially excellent.

We love Susanna Inn. The white walls and bright murals painted are beautiful and welcoming. Our room was right next to the roaring river and we were able to open our window at night and hear the sound of the river. Breakfast was delicious! The hotel staff allowed us to store our bags with them late into the afternoon. One of them even fixed my husbands luggage handle that had broken. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice hotel in Machu Pichu town. The staff is amazingly friendly and they take care of you very well. Breakfast was amazing and served with love. They also took care of our luggage when we went to Machu Pichu.

Stayed here in March 2021 and really enjoyed it. It’s a simple and clean hotel in a good location. Overall, a very good value. Location was good (Auga Calientes is so small, I don’t think there is a bad location). This place was super easy to get to from the train and has a very unique, memorable view with the river right outside your window.

Super clean, spacious rooms, good breakfast (bread, cheese/ham, fruit, eggs). The river view is very cool and LOUD with the window open. Would absolutely stay there again. This is the view from our window on the 3rd floor.

We stayed here for 1 night. It is a family business and Susanna was the perfect host! She made sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t know where to eat and she recommended a fantastic restaurant. The highlight of our stay was the incredible view and outstanding breakfast! They made a plantain pancake that was to out of this world. Still waiting for the recipe Susanna. I would love to get into contact with you to share this gem. Great experience!! Small family hotel with nice and clean rooms. We had a room with the best view - facing the mountain and river. It was spectacular experience. Very comfortable beds!!! Friends staff who was able to help with any questions and gave us good suggestions with restaurants, attractions and activities im the area. Highly recommend!!

I stayed one evening at Aguas Calientes prior to visiting Machu Picchu, and I'm so glad chose Susanna Inn. They were kind enough to meet me directly at the train station and escort me to the hotel. The hotel is brand new, clean and with spacious rooms. They incorporated elevated touches, such as windows that drown out noise from the river and high quality mattresses you find at nice hotels. Additionally, breakfast was delicious (plantain pancakes -- yum!). Needless to say, this was the comfortable and restful stay I needed prior to a long day of exploring. Just note, this hotel is fairly new and only accepted cash only at the time of my stay.

This is a small family owned hotel, but I loved my experience. Since it is smaller, the individual service given was spectacular. I was greeted at the train station by a staff member to help me with my bags and walk me to the hotel. They gave me local tips such as where to go for dining and resupplying as a hiking traveler. My primary language is English, my Spanish is mediocre, so it was really pleasant that they could communicate with me in English. The hotel room itself was very quaint. I had an unbelievably beautiful view of the mountains, seriously just beautiful. Everything looked new, and the breakfast was delicious, and it's complimentary. Wi-Fi didn't give me much problems. The hospitality shown to me made my trip to Machu Picchu perfect it was a VERY pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend and come again.

This Family own and one of the latest Hotels in the area has everything to make your stay comfortable. Clean, super comfy beds, welcoming staff & owners to attend your every need, quiet and views to the river are perfect environment for a well deserved rest after, what most go there for, Machu Picchu mountain. Can't recommend it enough.

As someone may know, the quality of hotel is very random in Aguas Calientes. This hotel is the place to go!

Excellent hotel with excellent location...clean and comfortable.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff ,she makes our trip more interesting with her advices & tips about the city .

Warm and charming. A hotel that feels like home. The location is perfect, the hotel is brand new, with the most amazing beds I’ve found in all Peru, exactly what I needed after all the walking. The service is perfect and the personnel is welcoming and very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay!

Right next to rail station. Host is very helpful and let us store our luggage when we were in machu picchu after check out. The ladies in the kitchen kept the kitchen open for us to have late breakfast. Please pay extra for the river view room, 10000٪ worth the price.

Probably the best hotel for the price in Machu Picchu and Peru in general. Really exceeded our expectations in terms of quality of service and our hotel room was extremely well stocked, clean and had unlimited hot water for the shower. The breakfast dinning room also had a fabulous view of the river and mountains. An absolutely amazing experience and wish we could have stayed an extra night after our Wayna Picchu climb!

Super clean, warm welcome and nice cozy rooms. Susanna and her family are doing their best so you can enjoy your stay. The hotel is renovated and the room are impeccable. The rooms has double glazing windows which blocks off the noise from outside, She also mentioned that she is one of the three in town that are equipped with them. After a long loud day out at Machu Picchu, it’s really nice to have some quietness for the night. Would definitely recommend

We have been super happy with this stay. The rooms were amazingly kept, the breakfast was nutritious, and the staff was incredibly hospitable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great place!
We arrived at Aguas Calientes (Dec 2019) with a hostel booked to find out it was not a good place to stay, fortunately we found Sussana Inn next door, what a great experience! Sussana is very welcoming and charming, helped us to find a room and preapered it very nicely, the room was very confortable and clean, the breakfast very generous and the staff was extremely helpful and nice. 100% recommended.
