I’ve had 2 experiences with renting a vehicle with National. Both were awesome, great customer service at the front desk. Perfect service for drop off. Everything discussed up front. Expect to pay insurance, standard. It’s not cheap. But you know what you’re paying for. I rent for 2 days instead of weekly.
I will be renting a 3rd time with them next week. Honest, reputable , good reviews. Would recommend.

Convenient, and good service. Will pick you up from the Rio Hato airport and return you there as well. The car inspection when you return the car was reasonable; they don't look for an excuse to charge you for every micro-scratch that wasn't there when you first took the car

Pagamos justo lo que nos indicaron al momento de rentar el vehículo. ( tener en cuenta que al momento de rentar se debe pagar el seguro) y dejar un saldo extra por cualquier eventualidad.. Pero cuando se entrega el vehículo de regreso.. Te lo consignan de nuevo a tu tarjeta.

El vehículo estaba increíble.. Limpio. Bonito y en excelente estado mecánico

El plus. Fue que el vehículo tenía chip para peajes.. Entonces no se debe estar pensando en cuanto dejar en efectivo para pagos de peajes

Rented several times before and always decline colision waver charge but last time, lady included without telling me, I was in a hurry, my mistake. Always check and read contract prior signing. Upon returning vehicle, zaz! Paid more for insurance than for the car rental itself. Ask for help to the higher offices for a one time courtesy and refused. Well, they lost a customer. I started using Arrendadora economica instead. Have a nice life National rent a car. I'm a Local influencer cause I work at the Riu Hotel Marina.

* even if you receive a rental confirmation after booking online you can't be sure to get a car! So if you base your travel plans on this car rental, you are in risk of being stranded. Been there, experienced it ("sorry, we don't have cars any more")

* the prices advertised are not the actual prices. They add "mandatory" fees, taxes and insurances. And you lose all your money prepaid if you don't submit to their demands. Double prices as advertised are likely! That's how ripping off Gringos works!
