What a wonderful place to eat.
It's just off the Decameron resort, only a minute or two of walking past the gate, west of lobby 3.
The food here is excellent, fresh, and well made. The service is top notch and the staff is warm and friendly.
Luce is the proprietor and the chef. She is talented and extraordinarily friendly. She speaks excellent English and French. You will wait a little longer for your food, but it is worth the wait.
The restaurant is quiet and quaint, a nice change from the bustling resort.
Prices are good, and they do accept Mastercard. I recommend stopping by a little earlier in the day and making a reservation for supper. They have lunch hours from 12 to 3 and then supper hours from 6 to 10. Do not hesitate to go there if you are tired of the resort food. Seafood is her specialty.

We were there last night for dinner. The owner pre-warned us that he only had one chef tonight so it will be a longer wait for dinner. We decided to go anyway and order a drink and relax. Incredible atmosphere outside under a wood gazebo. The owners wife is the chef. The owner was wonderful and the staff serving was meticulous. The food was fantastic. Be patient and relax and you will love every minute of your experience. The owner speaks perfect English, French and Spanish. I could get used to this lifestyle in retirement. Panama is different in a great way!

Absolute GEM of a place. This small beautiful restaurant is a huge must do if you're ever in Playa Farallon Panama! The service is perfect and the food is amazing. I'm so glad we went! You need reservations, but super easy we just emailed the only day they were closed, which is Tuesdays and the response was fast! Quick walk from the resort and you're in a perfect setting for great food!
Highly recommend, along with great food, music and atmosphere you couldn't ask for less!

We, 6 Canadian ladies enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night . We all had drinks, either beef, fish, or shrimp, and dessert! Do not hesitate to put this fine restaurant where the chef is readily available to be sure you are pleased with your meal choice!!

In a very cosy atmosphere you find this beautiful local restaurant bringing 'swiss' quality with local menus. Really nice presentation, kind people looking to serve you optimally.
Prices are in line with the quality and certainly not expensive. The owner is a wonderful host + cook. starters, main course or desserts; everything nicely prepared and served.
Nice list of cocktails too giving you a large choice.
Best place around in this area!

We had a great experience! The service was great, prices affordable, and food fresh. We really enjoyed the quaint atmosphere and relaxing music. This encompassed exactly what we were looking for. As Panamanians with family in the area; we’ll certainly return.

Our experience at la fogata was amazing, chef luz went above and beyong with details about my birthday celebration. Our dinner was exceptional and our server (Dio) was very welcoming, it is definitely a place we highly recommend.

We celebrated a birthday here while on our winter vacation. The Sexy Lobster Platter was fantastic. Service was outstanding and location was terrific. The hosts provided a whole birthday cake, sang the song, signed a birthday card and gave the birthday girl a Panama mug. Overall made the moment very memorable. Thank you!!

Came from Canada for a vacation with my family and wanted to try a more authentic restaurant that was outside of the hotel and its buffet n restaurants. The restaurant is own by lovely people. We were so pleased with the atmosphere, dinning experience and friendly staff. The food was excellent the service was excellent and the restaurant was so beautiful! My family had a very nice time and will always remember the experience !

We were there last night for dinner. Very nice restaurant, under the wooden gazebo. Very cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The owner welcomed us at the entrance. The food was fantastic. We loved every minute of our experience. The owner was very attentionate of our every need and the service was great! We will surely come back!

I could eat the food here every day! It was so delicious! The lobster was amazing and the fried sea bass was over the top! My wife and I celebrated her birthday dinner there and they couldn't have even any nicer. We loved it!

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Panama! The Chef prepares the absolute best octopus I've ever had!! Every visit to La Fogota has always been a special treat! I'm already looking forward to returning!
