The Corner Hostel

This was a fun little Hostal with very basic rooms, but a great breakfast and a good overall vibe. It is only a very short walk to the beach, and you may pass fishermen hauling in a catch on the way. We bought fresh fish on the beach and cooked it in the hostal kitchen.
The beach has marbled sand (black and brown sand) but is long and wide, with a few restaurants close by. The sunrise here was spectacular.
The hostal has a nice pool and a place to wash the sand from your feet.

We loved everything about this hostel. Absolutely lovely staff and the location is amazing. Excellent super market right across the street. about 5 minutes from the beach. The rooms are big and clean. The AC works well. Breakfast is good. Staff is really so nice and caring.

Great place if you are on budget and don't mind a bit alternative and backpack places with dogs and laidback atmosphere. The room on the first floor with a terrace has a nice beach view and sitting area. Breakfast was amazing considering the accommodation price. Beach, restaurants and supermarket in easy reach.

It was a pity that we could only stay here for 1 night because this place is so great. The vibe, the laid-back atmosphere, the breakfast, the people who are extremely helpful, the sweetest dogs, the swimmingpool, and the beach which is only a 2 minute walk with delicious pizzas and desserts. We recommend you to stay here at least two nights. It’s a great stop on your way to/from Panama City.

This place is FUN if you’re looking for a lively, community hostel feeling. Everyone gathers in the common areas and music is always playing. The staff are very friendly and will give you travel tips. The rooms have AC and WiFi. Nice big pool and large kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need to cook. Very close to the beach too. We booked only a day prior and they were very accommodating, check in was a breeze. There are many areas to hangout, this place is very spacious. Also breakfast is included with your stay, every morning.

Omg... I just loved this place and especially the dogs! 😍 Sebastian is a very good host and makes you feel at home. The rooms are clean and the tidy. It's super close to the beach and if you like the dogs keep you company. 😉 I'll definitely come back. One night was just too short...

This Hostal is amazing. The host are really nice and you feel at home from the first moment on.
Rooms are clean, breakfast is amazing (eggs, pancake, toast, coffee, tea...) and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The best Hostal we stayed in in Panama.
The beach is only 200 meters away.

Best breakfast I had in Panama - by far! Comfy beds, clean bathroom, fast internet, big garden and a chill atmosphere. And on top of all that Sebastián was extremely helpful and accommodating when I needed a quiet place to work.

I feel so very lucky to have landed in this little paradise. You will absolutely be treated like family from the moment you walk through the doors, and if you want to make friends OR live in solitude, these options are both available to you.
With a store located RIGHT next to the hostel and the beach a 2-3 minute walk away, it just doesn't get a lot better than this... ESPECIALLY if you like kitties and doggies. :) if you don't, they will give you space, but if you DO, you can have some furry friends here! ;)
I was a little sad every time someone left because I felt like I was saying goodbye to friends. I was only planning on staying here for a month before going to Valle de Anton, but I think I will be coming back afterwards!
