Casa Caracol Playa Corona

What a serene haven away from busy tourist areas! The beautiful private beach is secluded and peaceful. I loved having our well stocked kitchen to prepare fresh local fish and fruit. One of my favorite mornings was rising early to buy just caught fish at the Mercado de Mariscos in San Marcos - right from the local fishermen - and making ceviche de corvina and the sweetest pineapple that I've ever eaten for breakfast with Panamanian coffee! The owners were a couple of the nicest people that I've ever met; you will feel so welcome and happy. I'm so pleased that I stumbled upon this tropical paradise!

We found this place almost by accident, and I am quite happy we did. The location is excellent - directly on the beach. The rooms were extremely clean and the facility is "well-kept" - no rust, no chipped paint or any signs that this is a location directly exposed to the salt air (and I know how difficult that is to keep things in good condition.) The owner is cheerful, and speaks five languages: Spanish, Dutch, English, Italian, and I think German as well. The rooms are private even with the view, due to clever architecture. The well-shaded chairs in the sand overlooking the beach are perfect for sitting and reading in the afternoon. Very happy with this stay. The only downside is that it is a bit of a drive to get to any restaurants, but it has a kitchen so you can prepare your own meals too. Good internet speed, and a good shower/bathroom (those details are important.)

My wife and I loved staying at Casa Caracol. We were in the Pearl Suite, and it felt like being in an eagle’s aerie, looking out over the ocean and seeing and hearing the waves. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and our hosts couldn’t have been more gracious. There are good restaurants within a few minutes’ drive. We’re happy campers.

My short stay at Suites on the Beach was amazing and I look forward to returning for a week during the Christmas holiday later this year. Silvard and Barbara, the owners, we're welcoming and gracious, and the serenity of the location cannot be beat. If you are looking for a beautiful spot to relax, not far from Panama City, this is it!

I suppose the real test for a vacation property review is when time has gone by—in this case over a year, when the emotion of a vacation has worn off. Casa Caracol is a place to to go that is serene, has the ability to enjoy long solitude walks on the beach yet access to the city and tourist things too. As world travelers we don't like to go the same place so soon after being there. Yet the warm, helpful staff and 1st class accommodations linger fondly in our memory. Nearby restaurants are very good. Highly recommended. We shall definitely be back to fall asleep to the sound of waves and enjoy the company of the wonderful hosts.

We stayed in a studio apartment at Casa Caracol for 3 nights. The apartment has all that is needed for a comfortable vacation and the beach is stunning. Great value we will return.

De la habitación a la plata en menos de 5 min caminando, solo tocaba cruzar la calle.
La habitación super limpia y equipada con todo lo necesario, recomendaría el lugar. Además hay muchas cosas por hacer en las cercanías si vienes en auto. O simplemente disfrutar de la vista y la playa

De verdad las fotos no hacen justicia con el lugar, es espectacular, no solamente está muy bien ubicado y cerca de la ciudad, si no que está sumamente limpio y el servicio definitivamente fue el mejor, las personas estaban atentas a cualquier necesidad y estuvieron al pendiente hasta el último minuto, la mejor habitación es el penthouse simplemente la mejor vista panorámica al mar, seguramente regresaré en el futuro, es un lugar que recomiendo 100%

Cómodas habitaciones, con espacioso baño, sala y cocina bien equipada para preparar ricas comidas sin necesidad de salir de Casa Caracol.

Despertar con el sonido de las olas no tiene precio, tienen un área con sillas bajo ranchitos para protegerse del sol y procuran que sea un ambiente de relajación que es lo que uno viene buscando.

Definitivamente regresaría sin dudarlo.
