The Wandering Sloth Bar and Grill

Very good craft beer served ice cold! Unfortunately we showed up a bit late and wanted to get back to Boquete before night so we didn’t have a chance to try the food or more brews. They have endless free parking in a large lot and the place is very nice with a large outdoor patio. *Note this is in somewhat of a residential neighborhood so just keep going and follow your GPS you are on the right path and will eventually see it. Very happy we stopped by here and will be back.

We were happy to dine in this humble restaurant. We came in on a rainy day and the powers were out but the owner’s wonderful personality make up for it. Hubby and I are thankful for the tips and fun dining experience. Food was also great! Love the salad! Definitely recommend this place when visiting Volcan!

Tasty fish, pizza and steaks. Big portions. Great atmosphere. And veeery good looking latino waiter :⁠-⁠D
We'd come back third time if we stay longer.

I'd give 6 stars if I could, and not just because of the food (which was awesome, generous portions and very good value for the cost).

We stopped in at the Wandering Sloth for some food while trying to figure out an alternative after our Airbnb here fell through. Nancy and Eric took the time to find us accommodation nearby, despite it being high season and nearly 6pm. They sent us on our way happy, full and so thankful to have wandered into their restaurant.

On the food side, we had the lasagna (so good), Marlin (wow) and the French dip (great finale) which we all shared. Service was prompt - - I'm trying to get used to the different pace in Panama, so the speed of service was a nice change, as we were hungry when we arrived.

Probably along my best meals here so far, and the service and hospitality just topped it all off. Will definitely be back!

We were in need of good ole American bar food and we found it. That's not all they have though! Their fish specials sounded delicious and based on the quality of our selections, they would likely be wonderful. We'll return in a couple of weeks and I'll update.

Amazing! I recommend the BBQ Pizza. That brisket on top of the pizza, and caramelized onions... oooff! Wasn't even able to take a picture of the pizza until I realized it was almost gone. My wife and I came all the way up from Boquete just to try this place for our anniversary, and man it was worth it. I recommend this place 100%. Andrés is extremely polite and attentive.

Comfortable, interesting decor. Beautiful flowers outside of the restaurant. Food was A+. Had the mushroom swiss burger. They have a smoker, so enjoy the pork--the pizza is the real deal. Would/Will visit again.

Great place to stop, comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was exceptional, I had lasagna and my wife had a seafood with lemon sauce pasta. We will definitely stop in again but we're in the Vulcan area.

Best steak of anywhere I've had in Panama & cooked perfectly. Beef in Panama often is not the best, but don't be afraid to order it here. Owners are great and we had a wonderful conversation. They are very helpful with local info. Nice place with both expats and Panamanians as regulars. Good variety on the menu and daily seafood specials. Try it out when you are in town, you won't be disappointed.

Such an amazing gem! The wife and I were in town for a few days and wanted to try something different, so we stumbled in here for some dinner and we were soooooo happy we did! To start, the owner of this place is such an incredible person that showed exceptional hospitality. Everything that we tried was very tasty and the wife said the best Long Island Ice Tea she has ever had, hands down! 100% approve of this place to try if you're in the area.

My wife and I stopped by to see our old friends Nancy and Erick. We had the steak dinner with fries and salad. The steak was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The fries alone were worth the trip. I topped of the meal with a creamy cheese cake. The whole meal was fantastic and we will return soon.

Absolutely loved it, we had late dinner and they accommodated us. Good American food, reasonable prices, love the decor and friendliness of the staff and owners!!

Fun place, cozy with an extremely friendly and attentive staff. Didn't eat but their menu looked like good, comfort type foods.

Recommend heating here. Food was fresh and well prepared. Good flavor and plentiful servings. I was visiting the area and the owner was very helpful with some insight into local things to see and do.
