Great place to spent holidays, relax from city noise and jump into traditional Nepali life style. You will get most delicious food which will is all growing in Baseri village, right in garden. Awesome friendly family team doing a great job for you to make your time more enjoyable.

This is the most tranquil place I have found in Nepal. I slept like a baby for five nights. The nature is close and the views are amazing, also Namobuddha monastery is a walking distance away. If you suffer from Writer's Block and wish to finish your writing task, this is the place. Also very suitable for a romantic getaway or for a night with friends or family. The hosts are welcoming, nice and have this genuinely friendly sense of humor with each other and guests. All and all, I warmly recommend Baseri Farmstay for all those in need for a time off.

One point to note is that it's a little way out of Kathmandu, so do ask Anup about transport to make sure you know how to get there!

The view is awesome , the owners very nice ,It is in the middle of the forest ,sorrounded by trees and animals ,-Birds,Deeers,amazing butterflies and some insects tooo😉,The perfect place to get in contact with the nature and learn about the nepalies live, and traditions,the cooking lessons with prinka are a plus

Local experience, A peaceful place. If you want to feel yourself you can do it. But before booking once you can call ask ask how you will reach there it can be slightly can be hard if you can't walk. But Mr. Anup who is host of the property, He will help you for transportation.

overall if you are visiting from Kathmandu or coming from abroad on both situation you will love this place how I did.

Facilities and hotel view are fantastic.Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Staff are very kind and helpful. Scenes from the hotel looks mesmerizing and fantastic. The owner of the hotel is extraordinary.

What a fantastic experience we had! First of all, the views are stunning - there is a covered area to eat your meals or chill out overlooking the mountains, which is so peaceful and beautiful. Secondly, the food is delicious - so tasty and wholesome with a lot of the produce coming from the farm itself. In addition to loving our time at the farm, we also really appreciated our guided hike to the waterfall, which we got to swim in! We had lots of fun (singing and dancing) along the way! Finally, and most importantly, Anup and his family couldn’t have been more welcoming, and we really felt like part of the family while we were there. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Nepal and we 100% recommend it!

It has been one of the favorite place I visited to refresh in the lap of nature. In addition, this farmstay serves variety of locally grown delicious food with great hospitality.I had the pleasure of staying at "Baseri Farmstay" I must say it was an exceptional experience. Anup dai (Owner) was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of the surrounding of hills and river. This farmstay also had a lovely terrace and vegetable garden where we could relax and take in the serene atmosphere. The food served was delicious and the service was impeccable.

I came looking for a place to breathe in nature and find a quiet spot to bask in the sun, read and write. What I found was a tranquil and serene experience with a view that I will be sure to come back to.
The farm is lovely with over 50 different types of fruits, vegetables and flowers growing in it. In the morning, you're woken up by the sound of a multitude of birds--red, orange, blue (including the resident rooster and chickens).
If you want to walk around , you can stroll around trees, hills, or get to Dapcha itself (being less than an hour away) if you want to explore the town.
I also probably ate more than 3 times I usually do at home on account of the food being so fresh and delicious. Also, the Mutton curry made by Priyanka didi and Anup dai was perhaps the best I've had. Drinking the herbal tea every morning was also a treat and if given the option of any beverage to have each morning--I would probably choose that in my daily life outside as well.
If you want to learn more about the farm/farming, the ecology, and the village of Baseri in general, this place is a gem that I hope will continue to thrive and grow. I am looking forward to my next visit.

We had a great time in Baseri Farmstay with Anup and his family. The place has everything you might need for a few days off reconnecting with nature and with yourself.
We had our best dalbat here and also great lassies. Our kids enjoyed the place so much and also picking up blueberries from the bushes.
We recommend this retreat to anyone travelling in Nepal, they are close to Kathmandu and the new guest house they're building will have incredible views. Do not miss this place, and thank you for everything Anup.

I found baseri as a calm , peace and eco-friendly place . Its is a place where you can enjoy waterfall, delicious local food , peaceful environment, campfire barbeque, and many more things . I would love to spend my vacations at basery .
