It was a great experience visiting Chiwang Monastery. I loved the tibeten architecture and the venerable monks were very kind. Highly recommended to visit Chiwang Monastery.

This Monastery is located on top of a hill about 1.5 hours walk from Phaplu Airport.

It has an amazing view and monastery itself is a old and of the important monastery. It is a suitable place for a day hike when in Phaplu.

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni nel monastero in occasione del menirindu festival. Abbiamo dormito e mangiato con i monaci per 1500 rupie a testa al giorno. È stata un'esperienza meravigliosa. Il monastero si raggiunge a piedi con un trekking di un'ora e mezza circa o con una jeep, condivisa 500 rupie a testa, privata 4000 rupie.
