Pumdikot Religious Area

It is a very scenic place, the Shiva Statue located here is the second largest Shiva Statue in Nepal.
You may have to walk for at least 10-15 minutes if parking is not available till the main gate.
From the top you'll get an amazing view of Pokhara City along with Annapurna Mountain Range.
Entry here is free.
There are many restaurants and cafes located along with some souvenir shops.
The area is surrounded by mountains and it feels amazing to be here.

One of the most iconic religious locations with a wonderful view from the hill top. Has some amazing sceneries at all times of the day as long as the sky is clear.

The sunset is beautiful on a clear day and the temple is a little crowded during late evenings.

Went on a short hike about 40 minutes from pumdi bhumdi. It was a wonderful experience and the place is just wonderful and has a religious beauty. Would rather recommend a hike because we travel through vehicles all the while so why not?
Bonus point: you can visit Shanti stupa on the way back 😉

A must-visit religious site while in Pokhara. The view of the mountain ranges is just breathtaking, and the shrine itself is astounding!

It didn't cost us anything to enter. Just the fact that back in 2021, the road was still under construction so, we had to walk (5mins.) and it was worth it!

If walking, clicking pictures make you hungry then there are a ton of eating places (khaja ghara) just 5mins down the lane. Had 2 huge parking spaces.

Pumdikot has the second tallest statue of Shiva in Nepal. The statue premises also has 108 Shiva lingas that encircle the statue at its base. The statue and temple is in construction right now. The view from the top is incredible. From the view point you can witness the splendid view of the great Himalayas, Fewa lake, peace pagoda and Pokhara valley.

Pumdikot is one of the religious place which is located on top of the hill in kaski, pokhara , Nepal. It is very beautiful place to visit where a big shiva statue and the temple is there. Nice location to see the entire pokhara from the height. If the sky is clear , you can see some amazing sceneries at all times of the day. Pumdikot is a hill station near Pokhara in Kaski District of Gandaki Province in Nepal. This place has a viewpoint at an altitude of 1,500 Meters above the sea level and has the second tallest statue of Lord Shiva in Nepal after Kailashnath Mahadev Statue.

The height of the Shiva Idol in Pumdikot is 108 feet and the Idol itself is 51 feet. There are 108 Shiva Lings around the Idol in the Temple. Nepal is a country where 90 percent of the population is Hindu and the construction of this Lord Shiva Temple can help in the promotion of religious tourism. A large number of travelers are expected to visit the Shiva Idol in Pumdikot.

It's a strenuous ride up the hill...absolutely worth it...constructions goin on...and it was crowded as it was the weekend...the view is spectacular..highly recommended... would suggest going by bike rather than car as parking Could be a pain...

It was so scenic and beautiful 😍. Cars go near to the temple just a little walk and in case you are traveling by local bus then it you have walk like 500 meter.

A wonderful viewpoint in outskirts of pokhara where you can have majestic view of Himalayas along with Pokhara city, and fewa lake.
Also, can be a site for sunrise and sunset view along with a spiritual viewpoint.

A huge statue of lord Shiva is erected on the peak of the hillock that's next to the Fewa lake. This place offers decent views of Himalayan range as well.
