This delightful place is set on a lovely island with wonderful views. Everywhere there are colourful flowers and birds.

The staff, indoor staff and outdoor staff , without exception are consistently kind and helpful

I have been so fortunate in being able to return at Christmas for over10 years.I would like to think I could return for another 10 years!

very nice and luxurious hotel. staff were very kind and accommodating our need promptly , stayed on 1/7 and had issue with hot water. the deputy manager at that time helped us to get hot shower. He and all other staff were very polite and genuinely kind. strongly recommend to stay here at least for one night. terrific view from the breakfast restaurant. also the food was very good !!

This resort is magnificently located in the lake. The only way to get to hotel is by boat which is very special and exciting experience. The boat is like a sheltered plank and pulled both ends by the rope. It was real fun when we saw it first time. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by hotel staff. Specially to name Helen at front desk. She is very friendly and smiling and completed our check in. When we got up in the morning, We found the garden around the resort very awesomely beautiful, lush green with beautiful plants 🪴. The staff took care of our complete stay of 3 nights. Staff is very welcoming and polite. They have very nice restaurant serving food of all types. We were happy to find Indian taste. One can easily pass whole day in the resort with the nature and atmosphere. This is the best place to stay in Pokhara and I highly recommend. Perhaps, I may visit again.

I've observed significant enhancements at Fishtail Lodge since my last visit. The refurbished rooms mark a notable departure from their previous state, while the impeccably maintained gardens add to the allure. The staff's exceptional warmth and friendliness offered an unmatched level of service. I would highly recommend this property for those who are looking forward to spend some time away from frenzied city life. Kudos to the Management and its new GM.

We had two very nice nights in the lodge with our family. Everything exceeded our expectations: Friendly staff, gorgeous grounds, quality food and a few interesting little quirks like the boat transfer to the city of Pokhara. A good place to rest from the traffic and commerce of the city.

We spent two nights at the prestigious Fishtail lodge . The place is a must stay for a visitor to Pokhara ideally located across a water moving ramp for transport which was so new to us.

The staff are very very friendly and helpful.

It was love at first sight for us... from the boat trip over the lake, towards lodge...we were mesmerised by the beauty and were at awe at the serenity of such scenic place. Adding to our surprise was the fact that all the payment done goes to charity, which is actually heartwarming... Cradled among the mountain laps, this lush green garden covered lodge gave us the much needed change from the busy lives we were leading... the room was beautiful, clean and staff were so courteous and helpful... thank you so much for such a amazing and pristine stay!

View is amazing. 👍 Garden is so beautiful. The swimming pool was nice, but it was disappointing that there was no jacuzzi. It is special experience in Pokhra.

On 15th August 1991, me and my wife met the first time just by chance in this hotel, and since that day we are together. This year, after 32 years, we went back on the same date to spend the anniversary in the same place.
And we can say now, that this exceptional great hotel has an outstanding service level and extremely friendly and professional staff for decades!
Both now and back then, everybody did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as could be. And after they heard about the reason for our visit in this year, they even organised special treatment for us which we didn't expect at all.
If you are looking for a perfect place to stay in Pokhara, then this is definitely the place to go!

Located in the heart of Pokhara with splendid view of mountains like Machhapuchre and Dhaulagiri and the Fewa Lake. Quite place with a green garden in the courtyard and thick jungle in the backyard. You can take a dip into the swimming pool or go out for a boating trip to Fewa lake. The rooms are cozy and clean. The staff are very well behaved and have great sense of hospitality. Overall a must place to be in Pokhara.

I've only wandered the grounds birdwatching. But I can tell by the extremely thoughtful grounds and restaurant staff, this place is in a class by itself. Don't pass it up if traveling to Pokhara.

The views of Fishtail Peak, Annapurna and I believe Dhaulagiri are outstanding. There were only a few birds, but as is often the case when the birds are few in number, one or two are superb. This time it was a total show off White Crested Laughingthrush (the SNL conehead of the bird world). I had seen this bird only fleetingly a couple times previously. Nothing fleeting with this one. She or he foraged in the open for me for five full minutes, culminating in putting the binoculars down because the bird was at the close focus limit (7 feet) of the glasses! Wonderful diagnostic lesson as every fieldmark was clearly visible.

Its more of an experience! Situated at the corner of lake where you can only go by a boat - operated 24x7. Rooms are well appointed though a little old. We had an issue with twin beds which was resolved in 10 mins. Pool is good and lot of greenery around. Surely worth staying

A great place to stay whilst visiting Pokhara. Great rooms, fantastic food and service and the location is glorious.

Stayed many times but not for a few days it’s the ultimate treat of a Annapurna. Trek or just chill in Pokhara one of my global favorites.

If you want to be in prime location yet so full of natural beauty - then Fish Tail Lodge is highly recommended. Frequently visited this place with Family, friends and also for business work. Caters all . I can spend my time inside the hotel itself as the environment is so inviting. The spa, food, service are excellent. And above all it carries a legacy of more than 50 years in operation.

Very nice experience and perfect place to stay as the way of treating customers is too good.

Clean and good room, worth the money and like to stay in the near futures visit also. This is good for staying for AC and Non AC.

Convenient location to reach out to very beautiful property along the hill side of phewa lake.

This is one of the best hotel to stay in if you are at Pokahara. The ambience was very nice. It was very quiet and peaceful. The Breakfast buffet was very tasty. They have a small swimming pool and a gym with some equipments. The rooms were very neat and they clean it everyday and replace the bedsheets and towels. You have stunning view of the FEWA lake from the dining area. You have to take a boat ride to get to the hotel or leave the hotel.
