We had an amazing stay with Rupa and her parents. Homestay is in such a peaceful location. The food was amazing, homegrown vegetables and cooked with love. We had a great time talking with Rupa and hearing about the work she does in her community. She also brought us to a local festival so we got to visit a temple to Shiva and see the giant statue of his Trishula that is at the merging of two rivers not far from the homestay. It was an amazing experience and I hope we will get to visit again sometime. The place is very clean, has plenty of hot water and was a wonderful break from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu and the surrounding towns.

It was a joy to be guest at Vubhuti Homestay. In the heart of Balthali you will find a special place offering the peace of a beautiful garden full of blooming flowers and plants lovely cured by the host a young gentle woman that will warm you with her fine organic cuisine and her hospitality. A must if you want to spend some time and visit the sorroundings🌺

We found this homestay by surprise while walking in the middle of the fields but what a lovely surprise! Rupa and her parents have been extremely welcoming. The place is so beautiful, peaceful and very well maintained. The food we had for dinner and breakfast was absolutely delicious! Balthali is such a charming village but finding this hidden gem and meeting this family was a highlight.

Amazing time with Rupa and her sweet, sweet family. We highly recommend the 5am yoga session that she leads in the temple next to her house!
