Super cool place with probably hundreds of all sorts of games, whether you are alone or 2 or more there is always games to play!

Personal favorite was The Hive for 2 players!

Along with some nice snacks assortments you can order and really nice drinks!

Good board game store, good choice of games, good guidance from enthusiastic staff. And, it's a board game café too, where you can try out games enjoying coffee or a local beer.

Geeky vibes, amazing selections of games (different types, languages and categories), huge tables to play with friends and pretty tasty panini.
Excellent spot to spend a relaxed afternoon with friends playing. Possibility also of buying merchandise/games.
Staff is friendly, easygoing and chilled.

good place. love the atmosphere. people there are really nice and friendly. would recommend you to visit these place at the evening during weekends - it will be really fun) you can play games with awesome people and feel yourself comfortable and cozy. if you want to drink a cocktail you should try out “So Fancy” - I liked it pretty much)

Si visitas Holanda y estás cerca de Haarlem es una parada obligatoria para cualquier fan de juegos de mesa o incluso nuevos para este mundo. el personal es super simpático. te preguntan si necesitas ayuda. te preguntan para recomendarte un juego e incluso te explican. es una pasada. Aparte de eso tienen un catálogo muy amplio de juegos. No me fui de ahí sin antes pillarme el pandemic rising tides ya que quería llevarme un juego de mesa para mi ludoteca de recuerdo de los países bajos.

Totally Amazing Board game cafetería Shop. I love it. If you are in Holland you must visit this place if you are a fan of board games or even if your not or New in this World of boardgames. the staff is very simpat cheeeful and help you to choose a boardgame. even help you of what Kind you are looking for. they also explain rules how to play. its a very coosy place.. im Wishing to come. again with my girlfriend next time I come back to Holland. they have a very big colection of games to play there or to buy. OF COURSE I couldnt leave with out bring inglés a menor of the nederthands to my colection so I bought some games. The mostrar important Pandemic rising tides. more typical from here Impossible. ^^

A great place to experience some new boardgames (5 euros for all you can play), as well as to have a drink in a cozy atmosphere.

I travel extensively and am always interested to see what a locale has in terms of board game shops. This has to be one of the best stocked, friendliest places I have ever visited, with staff ready to chat and share recommendations, one of which resulted in a unexpected sale - Thank you Fabrice, much appreciated - may you find your own copy of Illusion one day.

I am not a guy who usually make review, but this time it's really needed. The Spellenhuis is a place where you can go, take a drink with friends (or just alone) and enjoy some table game and have fun.

They make weekly Magic The Gathering tables where you can just reserve, come and play. All the people is super friendly and the staff helps a lot with that. It's my favorite place in Haarlem, it's not just a place where to go and play some game, but a place where you can make new friends and really enjoy playing with friendly people that want to have a good time as you do.

I moved one year ago in the Netherlands (during pandemic) and the Spellenhuis helped me a lot to make new friends. This place is just awesome.

Walked in once to look at the selection and realized we HAD to come back with more time on our hands! Came back the very next day to a bunch of suggestions and stayed for four hours!! There are SO MANY not only to play but to also buy, for all ages, difficulty level and number of people (even just for the two of us). The staff are absolutely amazing, funny, sweet, helpful (!!) and witty. You might even make a few new friends there who share your interests and excitement for boardgames! ;)

An outstanding range of games, fantastic staff and plenty of space to sit and enjoy a game and a cup of coffee. The guys in the shop are amazingly friendly and they were extremely welcoming and generous when we took a group of 11 youngsters in. They even gave offered to set up an impromptu MTG draft game for us.

In addition to a huge range of MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh they have a very broad selection of MTG singles at excellent prices.

I can’t recommend this place enough - a MUST if you are into board games and / or Magic. Can’t wait to return.

Cosy place to chill !
When we arrived, the guy who welcomed us automatically advised us a nice 2 players board game. The concept of this game was singular, and it looks there are plenty funny games here ! Including classicals. The staff is very friendly, coming often if you need a drink or something to eat (even if the place is full !). The atmosphere is very happily, customers are all in a playful mood.

This is a wonderful place for a date. They have many board games in good condition. The employees seem knowledgeable about the games and can offer suggestions if you can't decide!

Have only seen these in Seattle! Friend and I stopped in late for a game. Staff was amazing when we asked for a 2 person game in which we could chat. Their choice was perfect. Beer suggestions were nice and we weren't bothered. Love this! Wish there was more.

I thought it was just a place to play games but they sell a wide selection of games as well! This is a very cool concept and has a great ambiance as well. 🙌

Nice staff and unqiue/ cool concept. Try to spend my time here often with friends. If you ever think about giving it a shot, atleast try since you won't be disappointed. (They even have an oven for hand made pizzas.)

Has pretty much most board games. And if they don't they are helpful in ordering it for you. You can play games here too. Has a big range, specialised in table top.

Visiting from the UK, found this to be a lovely venue for games and also a lovely cafe with friendly staff. Definitely a premium store.

Lovely place to sit, play games, drink or eat something and score new stuff for my game collection. 100% do recommend
