Hotel Veere

Traditional delights - we were on a tour of the coastline of Belgium and the Netherlands and stopped off in Veere for a bit of sightseeing. After a lovely walk around in the glorious sunshine we thought we’d stop off at Hotel Veere for a quick coffee before setting off to our next destination but it wasn’t long until we were lured in by the menu (which was a real treat to find it written in the local language only) and ordered a spot of lunch. I ordered the meat croquettes, which were delightful. Always wanted to try some local croquettes after hearing a lot about them from friends who are often in The Netherlands. My partner had the asparagus soup and a friend had the burger. All were very pleased with our choices, particularly the soup which was a delight. Fresh light and bursting with flavour. Friendly staff, very clean toilets, and a beautiful outdoor setting all made for a very pleasing lunch stop. Thanks

Out favourite restaurant in Holland and it's located in picturesque Veere. Amazing 3 course dinner. We've been twice and the food just gets better!

Another great weekend in 't waepen van Veere. This year marks our
10th year in a row.😊 and our first year for our new pointer Stella ! The food and service on Saturday night was excellent as usual

't Waepen van Veere is one of my favourite places to stay. I love the surroundings of Veere, service is wel just as the rooms.

Samen met mijn beste vriendin een overnachting geboekt nadat we het Blue Welness hadden bezocht ongeveer 15 minuten van het Hotel. Het Blue Welness had ook een hotel maar ik wou een hotel met wat meer karakter.

En dat kregen we. De locatie van 't Waepen van Veere is prachtig. In een klein stadje met veel groen aan het water, waar eventueel een rondvaart te boeken is. Het hotel ligt op een marktpleintje. Hier kun je niet met de auto komen. Maar de parkeerplaatsen zijn op loopafstand nog geen 3 minuten lopen.
Bij het reserveren kun je aangeven of je gebruik wilt maken van de parkeerplaatsen. De eigenaar van het hotel reserveert deze dan voor je.

Omdat wij de hele dag in de sauna waren konden we niet op tijd zijn voor de incheck tijden. Dit was echter geen probleem en konden ruim buiten de tijden inchecken. Dit na contact met het hotel.

Het hotel gaf duidelijk informatie via de mail. En zelfs op de dag zelf namen ze nog contact op om te vragen of alle informatie goed was aangekomen.

Het hotel was prachtig. De kamers ruim met een ruime badkamer. Het bed lag heerlijk.
Maar voor mij het hoogtepunt was de bar/eetgedeelte waar een heerlijk ontbijtbuffet op ons wachtte. Deze ruimt was zo mooi, met een prachtig balkenplafond en lichtinval.

Het ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid en we kregen een groot glas verse jus d'orange en een kan met heerlijke koffie.

De omgeving is mooi een rustig. Had er graag langer willen verblijven. Ga hier zeker nog een keer terugkomen.

Sehr schönes Hotel in toller Lage mitten in Veere mit superschönem Restaurant. Die Badezimmer sind zum Teil ganz neu, einige sind allerdings noch alt. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll, das Frühstück top! Wir kommen wieder, allerdings erst im Sommer, da hat das Restaurant dann länger als bis 17 Uhr geöffnet.
