Brasserie de Peperboom

This was such a welcome surprise for us. The customer service was excellent, very welcoming and answered any questions we had. The place warm and relaxed and we were able to bring our dog in as well. The food was great, we had the a duck dish with cherry and pear, which was delicious. We also had a lunch deal with lovely bread, tuna salad, salmon, a croquette and fish soup. If I’m being very critical the lunch deal was a little salty and the duck dish had some rice and a piece of poppadom on the plate which I guess were a garnish but odd however these are really minor points. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area.

Excellent - absolute recommendation! We had the menu and the vegetarian cannelloni. Service was great, speaks English and German fluently.

From the friendly warm greeting to the French Onion Soup, to the Halibut, to the wine, to the deer, to the Crème Brulé, to the maritime-themed authentic antiques and pieces throughout, and finally to the location in beautiful historic Veere just down a quaint cobblestone steet right off the waterfront, this restaurant is not one to be missed. I’ve eaten in restaurants all around the world and I will tell you that this place is absolutely 5 stars. The gourmet chef knows his expert craft for the dishes burst with flavors and are seriously absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! Visiting Veere? Don’t pass up the restaurant!

Very nice restaurant! Excellent food and service, nice set-up. I didn't had the chance to sit on the terrace, but it looked great also. Decent price for the quality. Will come back for sure.

Heerlijk gegeten in deze sfeervolle zaak. Complimenten aan de mensen in de keuken en in de bediening. Lekkere bijpassende wijn. Tip: let wel op waar je gaat parkeren ivm vergunningen.

Ik kan niet anders zeggen dat deze sterren dubbel en dwars verdiend zijn. De Peperboom is gelegen in een pittoresk straatje in het prachtige monumentale Veere. In de Peperboom kun je terrecht voor een heerlijke culinair dinner of lunch.
Het personeel is er vriendelijk en de sfeer is er huiselijk dat maakt het dat je je als gast op je gemak voeld.
Het eten is van goede kwaliteit en van goede proporties.
Kortom ben je een keer in Veere dan is de Peperboom echt aan te bevelen.

Eenmaal in Brasserie De Peperboom verbleven, kom je (net als wij) altijd weer terug! Gewoon ongecompliceerd goed. Culinair topverzorgd zonder consessies aan kwaliteit en altijd bijzonder gastvrije ontvangst én bediening. Een toplocatie met een prachtig bloeiende buitentuin waar het zomers heerlijk relaxed genieten is. Voor ons een oase van genot!

Alleen wat gegeten maar was heerlijk en het bord zag er verzorgd uit. Niet direct aan het plein midden in de stad maar echt de moeite waard om even naar toe te lopen!
