Grand Café Restaurant Zeezicht

Really cozy restaurant with a good atmosphere and even better food. The soup of the day was amazing, I want to eat it again! The vibe there was really good, friendly service and a good atmosphere. Worth a visit for lunch, or even just drinks and snacks.

The seven of us: four adults, two teens and a toddler, were looking for a place for an early dinner and most places on the main street were full. We wandered into the restaurant from a side entrance and found a largish table to park us at, by the window. The atmosphere was comfortable and easy. The two decks outside were full - it was a cheerful sunny evening and looked like everyone had the same idea.

The young man waiting at our table, fortunately for me, spoke good English (most Dutch do, but I do need to mention it ) and he was well informed on beers and wines, and matched them well with the ordered food.

The food served was well plated and good but a special mention has to be made for the Dal and yellow rice that my daughter ordered.

Far better than any dal I have eaten in Holland... Actually forget that, it was an absolute delight. Packed with flavours, evenly tempered and the perfect (the dryish version) consistency. The plated meal was odd though, I am being picky, it had yellow rice, dal, salad and bread!! (The bread can be totally avoided). A papad, raita and pickle would've completed the meal, a lemon pickle would have been Oscar winning. My complements to the Chef.

The story did not quite end there. We were in a bit of a rush for the last ferry so we made a quick exit. While we waited in the queue for the boarding, the young gentleman, the waiter, ran behind and found us in the terminal. He had the toddlers sipper and made the effort to run and return it to us.

This made the restaurant far more special and will be remembered for long. Thank you!

After having been closed a while the restaurant is now back. It is looking better than ever and the new super friendly staff makes a visit very much worth it.
The food is of excellent quality and the taste and preparation was great!

Perfect dinner experience, very nice indeed. They had the same mugs and soup bowls as we have at home, so a very homely feeling for us. Great experience!

Excellent dishes and a friendly staff. Reservations required, but this also means that peak times are avoided which makes for a comfortable, quiet atmosphere.

Mooi ingericht café restaurant, met groot terras dat uitkijkt over de haven en zee. Lekker eten, vlotte bediening, hoofdgerechten 19,50-24,50. veel vegetarische en vegan opties. aanrader!

Aan de buitenkant vond ik het restaurant niet heel aantrekkelijk.
Binnen stapten we een vt wonen achtig eetcafe binnen, mooi aangekleed. Tafels staan ruim opgesteld en toch gezellig.
Mooi uitzicht over de haven.
En nu al 2 keer echt heerlijk gegeten, mooi gevulde borden, echt lekker en ook een leuke kinderkaart.

Tijdens ons weekend op Terschelling hebben wij tweemaal Zeezicht bezocht en beide keren hebben wij hier heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. Voor de hotdog met daarbij een Brandaan speciaalbier kom ik graag terug!

Grand Café Zeezicht is een prima plek om heerlijk te toeven met uitzicht op de haven.
Verschillende typisch Terschellingse producten zijn beschikbaar zowel om te eten als te drinken. De bediening is vriendelijk. Ruime lunch- en dinerkaart en ook voor de kleine trek is er veel.
Voor mensen met lactose- of glutenvrij of voor vegetarisch zijn er ook diversen op de kaart:
Zoals een hamburger met zeewier of een tosti geitenkaas met cranberry.
Koffie of Chai met havermelk.
Wij hebben heerlijk op het terras gezeten en gegeten en komen hier graag terug.

Altijd een leuke plek, om bijvoorbeeld een koffietje of nog een hapje te doen voor je de boot pakt! Leuke bediening en een leuke kaart.

Leuk en mooi ingericht plekje met uitzicht op het water. Er zijn verschillende zitplekjes gemaakt, je kunt kiezen neer te ploffen op de bank, in het restaurant of in de serre. Met mooi weer zul je ook lekker buiten zitten.
We hadden een soepje en een maaltijdsalade om te delen en dit was heerlijk! Mooi opgemaakte borden en goede smaken! Bediening was vriendelijk en het eten kwam snel. Hebben heerlijk gezeten, aanrader!

Een van de leukste tentjes in West. Prachtig terras met dito uitzicht, niet alleen in de zomer trouwens. Leuke, afwisselende kaart, heerlijke soepjes en de cranberrykwarktaart is niet te versmaden. En ik kan het weten, want ik heb uitgebreid onderzoek gedaan over het eiland naar het diverse cranberrygebak. Iemand moet het doen, niet waar. Gecombineerd met een heel vriendelijke en servicegerichte bediening is en blijft Zeezicht een van mijn favorieten.

Heerlijk gegeten, vangst van de dag, zeebaars. Goed gebakken Groentes erg lekker, maar had ietsje langer gegaard mogen worden Voorgerecht visplateau; een aanrader zeker als je van vis houdt
