Food is good although not stunning. Beef skewers particularly good. Side salade of taste, but lightly too much vinegar for my taste. Slightly clumsy service but perhaps it was due to tiredness (it was quite late). Amazing location, price is normal for Amsterdam area.

Vandaag voor het eerst naar een Fletcher geweest voor een Kerstbrunch. Wij vonden het erg slecht, er was niet eens een gezellige kerstsfeer gecreëerd we zaten in de volle verlichting. Ook het aanbod van de gerechten was niet bijzonder. Het was allemaal iet wat simpel. Wij vonden het de kostprijs niet waard. Volgende keer gaan we naar iets anders op zoek.

About IJmuiden
City in the Netherlands

IJmuiden is a port city in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is the main town in the municipality of Velsen which lies mainly to the south-east. Including its large sea locks, it straddles the mouth of the North Sea Canal to Amsterdam. To the south it abuts a large reserve of plant-covered dunes, the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park. The city is on the south bank; the north bank is otherwise a steel plant and Velsen-Noord. It is 10 kilometres north northwest of Haarlem which is 18 kilometres due west of Amsterdam.
