Great place to have ice cream and let children play. The grass area is amazing: it’s big with plenty of toys for the children (e.g. big chess board). There are good sitting options (even in a shadow or under a tent). Staff is friendly.

Lovely atmosphere and simple but good quality food. Great for lunch after a walk! Looking forward to trying it in the summer.

Cracking cafe/restaurant in a really lovely location just at the edge of the national park and only ten mins drive from the ferry. The food was excellent as was the service and the terrace is a lovely place to sit on a warm day. The English menu was helpful and our daughter loved the large play area.

Cool shady spot to take a break on a hot day. Nice playground for kids with farm toys, chess game and cows to pet. Plenty of seating but could see this a busy place with good weather. Lots of bikes and horses pass by as the park has some nice horse trails next to national park zuid-Kennemerland. Our server was friendly and prompt, didn’t try the food though. Good local Santpoorts bier.

The food is pretty basic (bitterballen, kroket, fries... the usual fried Dutch stuff and burgers, salads etc).
But the atmosphere is really nice, the ice cream is good and it's a great place to sit in the sun surrounded by nature.

First stop after a long ferry crossing. Food was delicious and didn't take long. Staff very friendly and brought us an English menu for easy ordering. Hope to stop again on our homeward journey.

Excellent place to relax before or after you enter the National Park Kennemerlad Zuid.... playground for children, adjacent fields with cows 🐄 and 🐎 horses ... Definitely the best ice-creams I've tried in a long time...

Very nice farmstead restaurant on the edge of densely forested old sand dunes, part of the sea defense of the provinces North-Holland and South-Holland. The restaurant has a really friendly staff. Good coffee, refreshments, icecream, beer, snack meals.
On the Eastside are pastures with horses and cows, Santpoort village and then the city of Haarlem. Near this farmstead is also the medieval castle, partly ruined, Brederode Castle, which can be visited and climbed safely. Some of its halls furnished with original furnitures and medieval items.

Perfect to hang out with the kid. Vegan options for coffee and ice cream. Very cool

Best fries and icecream of Haarlem and area! Great outside sitting space for children.

Lovely place to relax and enjoy the view. By the way, they have delicious apple cake.
