Gas was reasonably priced compared to other stations nearby. Cashier was friendly. Gas pump was loud, but worked better and stopped the pump without a flood of gas gushing out at you like some other stations. Note that American credit cards are NOT accepted and you'll need to pay in cash.

Brilliant garage easy to find once you leave the boat. Staff very friendly and helpful and speak good English. Just off the roundabout 400 yards from the Dock. Large shop inside offering all sorts of products. AGAIN staff are first class will always go back there.

Dit tankstation is echt GEWELDIG.

Naast dat je er kunt tanken en dat de medewerkers super vriendelijk zijn, hebben ze werkelijk alles. Vergeten brood te halen en de winkels zijn dicht? NAAR HET TANKSTATION!!!

Kom je er om 01:00 's nachts achter dat je de kattenbak ECHT moet verschonen en je hebt geen kattengrid meer???

Niet de goedkoopste qua brandstof, maar wel een full service benzinestation, met 24/7 openingstijd, vriendelijk personeel en een uitgebreid assortiment producten in de winkel zoals bijvoorbeeld koffie en thee, brood en beleg, dierenvoeding en tijdschriften.

About IJmuiden
City in the Netherlands

IJmuiden is a port city in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is the main town in the municipality of Velsen which lies mainly to the south-east. Including its large sea locks, it straddles the mouth of the North Sea Canal to Amsterdam. To the south it abuts a large reserve of plant-covered dunes, the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park. The city is on the south bank; the north bank is otherwise a steel plant and Velsen-Noord. It is 10 kilometres north northwest of Haarlem which is 18 kilometres due west of Amsterdam. The port is a deepwater port suited to fully laden Panamax ships, and fourth port of the Netherlands. source
