Going there was a true surprise!
Charming environment, Eftelingish deco, warm, cozy, nice open fire. Very genuine Dutch Cuisine, I much appreciate that much. Many options, tasty food, very good service, very surprising. Mandatory to go to the toilet even if you don't feel the need for it! The prices are very accessible. For sure a place to repeat. For sure a place to remember and to share with others. I fully recommend this amazing restaurant. You should expect a few nice surprises. I love it!

It was the very first time that I went to a restaurant, ordered traditional Dutch food and got AMAZED by it!
Seriously, the food is so tasteful. The restaurant itself is amazing, with a rustic decoration and amazing antique furniture.
Ah, please ensure you go to the toilet! It's an attraction by itself!!!

I had the pleasure of being in this wonderful place. A place where time has stood still. Traditional food and a homely atmosphere can be found here. And for two and for a family meeting.

Lovely fairy tale like atmosphere. Great place to visit with your kids. Has a playground and plenty of cool stuff inside to keep them entertained.

You should definitely visit the restroom, it's a life changing experience.

Authentic Dutch food right on the border to Belgium. The dark fairy tale-esque setting deserves top marks and the kids loved the playground.

Very rustic traditional cafe, perfect for lunch after a walk nearby. It’s right by the Belgian border. Free peanuts are served, and you simply sweep the shells to the ground. Food portions are generous and delicious too.

The best spare ribs dish I have eaten in the Netherlands. The environment is very cosy and child friendly. I'm planning to go back again.

Food is great with lots of taste. But you got to go here for the atmosphere. Outdoor is a normal terrace. But indoor is where the magic is. Indoors, it looks like the polish of efteling within their own brabants theme. And the toilet is on a whole another level

Beautiful and very cozy restaurant. Kids and dog friendly. Nice food and beers. The decoration is amazing! A nice outside playground for the kids, quite fast service considering how busy it was. I would be happy to go back again!

The foods are very delicious and the prices are good. The atmosphere is nice. You should see its wc :)

I'm not Dutch, I don't know if this place is normal for the region, but it's amazing - nice terrace, nice beer, kids play park, weird haunted house, and the most random toilets ever. Plus you can walk over the road and you're in Belgium. 100% recommended.

Amazing experience.

Very pretty place just next to the nice woods at the border NL/BE, so perfect spot to get some food after a long walk or cycle. Food is nice and service is very friendly. If you have a kid this place is perfect because of the large playground which is just next to the outside tables

Lovely restuarant and cafe. My wife and I stopped here regularly on our holiday. Perfect cycle stop. Will return here definitely.
