Center Parcs De Kempervennen

First time at a Dutch Center Parcs. We had a great time. Accommodation was great, staff perfectly courteous, clean and tidy. Good vibe all around. Pool area was great and, despite the weather outside, spent a lot of time in the warmth inside. Cycle hire meant visiting the local towns, which were just lovely. Would highly recommend and would go again.

Visited from the UK and this was our first ever CP holiday. The facilities were great, so much for the kids to do and a good mix of indoor/outdoor activities. The lodge wasn't fully clean when we arrived but the issue was quickly sorted out. The lodge was a good size and had all of the cooking equipment you could need. The location was great. Plenty of attractions nearby and lots of places to cycle to. We loved the Netherlands and will definitely be back.

High quality accommodation, with very good facilities (kitchen, bathroom, beds, living area etc.)
The water park is great, especially the slides and the wild river.
The park is green and beautiful, with very nice petting zoo!
The area around the park is also nice. A great village just nearby with good restaurants, big supermarkets and nice small center.

The only comment which not hurt the 5 stars score, but worth mention is the park's staff which are nice but too strict and programmed without the necessary guest service flexibility. For instance, we ordered the daily bread service, and asked for specific bread types (instead of the random selection they provide). They refused to do it and continue with the randomize selection which for us was just a waste of food since most of the time, all the bread was white bread, which we're not eating.

The first time I had been to Center parcs outside the UK and we loved it. Many other Brits had also clocked on to saving money and taking the option to travel a little further, some had never been to center parcs UK before.

The facilities and activities are top class. The Aqua Mondo has rapids, slides and different pools, probably 90% of what Elveden has but with the extra 10% being made up on better atmosphere. There is an indoor ski slope with SNOW, it has a smaller run for learners and a taller slope for more experienced users, this also has a mogul and jump section which was fantastic! 2 travelators and a button lift mean very little queueing.

The food and drink was reasonably priced which I found every unusual for a center parcs, again I'm only used to rip off Britain though.

We saw red squirrels, frogs and lots of other wildlife. Accessing the site was simple, 3 hours from Calais. We will come back here no doubt.

A regular visit, as a couple or with family, as we have been coming once or twice a year for the past 28 years! For us it is ideal, as we love the solitude of the woodlands, the chance to visit local towns and places of interest and plenty of exercise opportunities (swimming, walking, running, cycling and even indoor skiing).

Very good stay in center parc, the cottage are very nice just next to the lake and totally new. The price was cheap compared to hotel on booking or Airbnb. Moreover the facilities are incredible the indoor pool jacuzzi slide … very nice place to go for Holliday in the middle of the forest :)

We had a vip cottage at the end of august 2023, all clean and big enough for a family of 4. The oven, fridge and dishwasher were new and clean - sofas were comfy and the dining chairs were great. The garden bbq was what we mainly used for cooking though.

My only issue was there was zero insect netting on any windows or doors, and being so close to the lake we were eaten alive by the mosquitoes if we opened any windows at night… so it got pretty warm and sweaty some nights with all the windows locked tight.

All the activities the kids (and adults) did were great, staff were friendly and helpful - had a really fun stay and made some great memories.

Plenty of things to do. There is no reason to leave the park. The Aqua Mundo is also a great swimming pool with a lot of nice slides. There are a lot of different places to eat. The houses, even though they claim to be renewed recently, are in need of some maintenance. Paint is falling off, and some elements look outdated/old.

We had never been to a center parcs before, and were also upgrading from being regular campers so this was a very new experience. We loved it and the kids (9 and 4) had a blast, despite the fact we had bad weather.

Aqua mundo was great- we went every day. We did loads of activities. My son loved laser tag, paintball and aqua park. We all had fun on the big sup and at bowling and my little one loved the farm and the beach.

The whole site is really easy to get around, particularly by bike. We were in zone 9 and found this a really good location. It is very beautiful and only ever feels very busy in the market dome around the time of the Orry show in the evenings.

We only ate out at the grand cafe twice...it was average and expensive, but a nice place to have a beer and watch the world go by. We drove to a lovely nearby Aldi and stocked up for the week.

The cottage was very easy to cook in and in a lovely setting by the lake. The beds and sofas are not particularly comfortable and even though on the whole it was clean,this could have been better. Be prepared to make your own beds and put in all your own bin liners. Also, very weird that there is no sink in the toilet. Shower room very small. Despite all this, it suited us very well and we would have the same accommodation again.

Staff spoke excellent English and were always able to sort out any issues we had.

Great place-we will definitely be back!

We loved this Center Parcs, and had a wonderful stay. Great activities and facilities. We would love to come back. The only thing that let it down was the lodges, not very clean and very damp. But that aside we loved it.

Lots of nice activities, parc was well tended to, apart from a few small issues which got resolved very quickly, the bungalow was nicely decorated, fully equipped and great.

Amazing beautiful location, staff very friendly and all of them multilingual that we spoke to. All the activities including the amazing Zipwire were well worth it. Cabins need a little TLC here and there but not too bad. Sauna in the VIP cabin was also very good.

I took all my family to the Center parcs de Kempervennen. We were thirteen in all .The youngest is three and the eldest is sixty six ( that's me :-) and I must say we all loved it ! It was a heart-warming and magical experience .

Amazing Family Friendly Site - so much to do - great location for Efteling too

As a family we've visited Center Parcs in the Netherlands on a few occasions. They are always excellent holidays and this was no exception. The lodges are well equipped and clean. The recent refurbishments were evident and included some brilliant new services. The pool, restaurants, activities and surrounding area were brilliant for active families who want to take advantage of them, but there is plenty of opportunity for chilling out and relaxing too. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the whole Parc at De Kempervennen was safe and clean.

Beautiful woodland lake setting, lots of fun optional activities for the whole family, plus a great swimming pool complex and indoor Adventure zone (ninja-warrior style course) included in the price. There is a petting farm onsite and you can even feed the otters. Also very flat so perfect for cycling.

Overall very much satisfied! Apologies if I write my review here as the review request sent by Center parcs is just too long! Great place! I got a good price on a "comfort cottage" (around number 525) (the kitchen, bathroom, beds, the view, the terrace). We loved everything: the activities, options, the aqua mundo, the bikes, the farm, the beach, everything is clean, it's well organised (like the bracelets), check-in and out clear.
Small drawbacks:
- The bungalow's thermostat works well. It's just that it can be cold at nights as the front door is not isolated (bottom of the door) and so mornings are chilly.
- The aquarium/tuba part in aqua mundo was not accessible.
- Aquamundo: the wild river a bit too wild. Great slides and kids corner nevertheless!
We will definitely come back. I used to come here (the ones in Belgium) 30 years ago. It was similar but just less modern.

Had a wonderful time, lovely staff, excellent facilities and beautiful location. Only downside was that any clothes etc kept in the villa ended up damp, which was a pain!

We returned here with bigger kids 9,12 after having fun a few years ago. There are activities for everyone but these ages have the most. This time I came mentally prepared to pay extra for everything inside the park. Few activities are free. The water park is included and.various stuff suitable for younger kids, everything else costs extra. The cabins are comfortable, We took an 8 person cabin despite being only 6 because we needed the extra toilet and shower. The smal toilet room had an unidentified bad scent to it. They sent someone but couldn't do much. All in all a great vacation, highly recommended.
