Café - restaurant land en zeezicht (LEZZ)

Loved the food. Was looking for vegetarian and found some options. Ordered Veggie Crunch Wrap and fryes , both were made very well.

The staff and the service was also very good.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that this was one of the best restaurants I've been to in years. Their nachos were on point, the location was astonishing, and the interior was fascinating. It was very pricey, however. But if you have an open budget, I recommend this place.

We were in Marken for about an hour on a cruise excursion. I wasn't feeling well the night before and was pretty drained on the excursion. This café was so warm, cozy and inviting. I had 25 minutes to get something to eat. I asked Jada the server if I could have a piece of bread with cheese and Dylan over heard me and said "wouldn't you rather have a grilled cheese"?
I lit up and said "YES"! I was given the choice of white or dark bread (Pick the dark bread!)
4 minutes later, I had one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches ever!
It was exactly what I needed. It made all the difference in my day!

On a second visit to Marken, had lunch at land en zeezicht again. Food and service still excellent just as the first visit.
Had the steak sandwich and salad with bacon and prawns. Good portions and tasty. Stayed for multiple drinks including beers, aperol spritz, limencello fizz, and fruity beers. Views of the boat docking station and water. Very relaxing vibe.

Two years ago I had lunch here and it was one of the best days of my life. I went to the Amsterdam Symphony, sat next to someone local and we started chatting. I told him I was a tourist (not that my accent didn't give it away first). When I told him I rented a scooter, he rolled his eyes. I assured him I road a bike back home and was riding safe. So he told me I should ride out to this little town. The ride was beautiful. the town was so different from what I'm used to. I'm glad I came. As for my lunch... Oh my gosh. I never had fish that fresh and tasty before. Thank you so much. If I ever get the chance to go here again, it will be a must-do stop on my trip. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Excellent friendly service. Staffs were above and beyond to get us a shaded table. Food were good. The “easy peel prawns” had a tasty hint of oriental favours and with good portion. The vegi nacho had a kick of spicy too. The lemonade was a bit too sweet though. We had a great relax afternoon people and boat watching. You can watch the ferry heading volendam too.

My wife and I visited this area for the first time and wandered into the Land en Zeezicht. We were immediately greeted with friendly faces and great service! While waiting for our order the waitress came by and brought us a small serving of beef with a sweet sauce and pita chip. She said it was complimentary as small gift to us! Everything was absolutely fantastic as far as food quality, but what they did next was the OVER-THE -TOP kicker that has us as raving fans of this restaurant!!!! We asked our waitress if they had any t-shirts of the restaurant (a common advertising practice of restaurants in the states) and she said that she had never heard of such a thing. However, she said she would call the owner of the restaurant AT HOME, ON A WEEKEND, to see if he would sell us on of the staff t-shirts. The owner of the restaurant thought it was such a good idea that he just gave us a brand new staff t-shirt for sharing the idea with him!! Now how cool is that!?!?! GO FOR THE FOOD!!! GO FOR THE ATMOSPHERE!!! AND IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS I'D SAY GO FOR THE T-SHIRTS!!!! :)

It’s incredible that a place of this quality exists in such a tourist ridden place. I really didn’t have high hopes, given that most people who visit Marken are only there once, so the restaurant doesn’t necessarily need to cater for repeat visitors. To my surprise, the food extremely good. Their no-frills burger was a delicacy perfectly cooked to medium-rare. The steak on bread (or whatever it was called) was even better. The prices were extremely reasonable for what they offer. It was a positive surprise during our trip.

Friendly staff, great food, nice cocktails and fair prices. Amazing harbour view. In the heart of a fairytale village Marken. Definatley a do!

We had an amazing time at this nice cafe-restauraunt right at the pier in Marken. The food was brilliant, especially the desserts (lemon meringue tart and cheesecake was heavenly) and the service as well. Definitely worth visiting if you are in Marken.

Food was amazing.! Took the steak sandwich on the boat across to Volderdam. We were the envy of everyone on the boat! Smart move to skip the shoe museum and get a bite here!
