Really nice family restaurant with nice view of a harbor, we had 2-course menu with fish soup with really nice and fluffy dark bread from a local bakery and main course was fish with beetroot mashed potatoes on a sliced fresh apples and sauce , very tasty . Definitely recommend

A winter time, a Christmas time but most importantly excellent hospitality. Extraordinary taste and a warm atmosphere. Be sure to visit.

Beautiful location with the best view to the see and the port.
All dishes are excellent, well prepared with fresh and local ingredients. Beef, lamp chops, salmon are perfectly cooked.

My son and I spent a day in Marken and De Taanketel was the restaurant where we had lunch.

I admit I was expecting it to be a tourist trap, but thought we could at least enjoy the nice weather and the blue sunny sky at the port. De Taanketel is right at the island’s harbour and at a very picturesque spot.

I was proven very wrong. Food was super delicious. We both ordered beef burger and it was among the best we’ve had. Very good service also. Polite and fast.

I would definitely recommend it as the place to be when you visit Marken.

Nice restaurant over Marken island. I was not hungry so i took Alcohol free peer which was very good that they had it and cheese cake which was very nice. You can pay using credit card. Very nice location and views. Thank you

Great atmosphere just by the seaside. We came just for few hot chocolates and we really enjoyed them. I would highly recommend it.
