I cannot say nothing bad, parking available for free, very kind English speaking staff, adequate entrance fee, wc available, part of the museum is inside, part is outside, we apologize to be there with our young son, but he went through it quietly and peacefully with us, it's a pity that today's people have not learned at all, the horrors of the past are repeated over and over, outside the museum you can visit the monument and barrack B1

It's a concentration camp during world war 2, were people were in horrible conditions during living. As my grandfather/mother survived the war. It felt really close to home and made me emotional.

Can't relate how they must have dealt with all this.

Big respect to all who those kept fighting/surviving for there lives 🙏🏼🌻

It was the first time I was in such a camp. I can't find words for human cruelty. The camp is small, you can walk around quickly. There is also a cafe where you can have a coffee or a snack.

Very informative and deeply impressive. Allow a couple of hours to see everything. The execution place is also worth a visit, no ticket required. It involves a walk through the woods, but is well signed.

A poignant memorial to a time in history which should not be forgotten lest we risk repeating it. Well maintained monument with stories, objects, and quotes from the people who, sadly, spent a harrowing time in the Vught concentration camp.
There is also a section showing the persecution faced in the Netherlands by Jews during WW2.
A saying on one of the walls - there is no black and white in a war but different shades of grey and important to recognise these.
The camp itself is easily accessible by road and has plenty of parking.
Well worth spending a few hours.

Well maintained museum.

The introduction film was excellent!
If there are no one in the theater, and film is not playing, would be great to get a little additional information about how to start the movie by yourself (as a visitor).

The audio tour and videos worked together incredibly well to guide the museum visit and help me appreciate (somewhat) the real story of the WWII victims.
Naturally, the suffering and deep pity were indescribable.

The museum visit was impressive!

this was an excellent, well presented holocaust memorial. so much information, and the children's memorial of the millions of exterminated children brought tears to our eyes. audio was informative and clear, they had Spanish, Dutch, French, English and some others too. place was clean and well organised. would highly recommend!

An informative and thought provoking site to visit. It is well run by volunteers. An excellent audio tour in English is available as part of the entry fee. You are able to move through exhibits at your own pace however allow at least two hours to really experience the exhibits and camp. Not too crowded. Clean toilet facilities. Coffee and tea available with some snacks. No cash transactions - you will need a debit or credit card. Some books relating to the Holocaust available but mostly in Dutch.

Very well put together collection of a tragic time in our history. We came away so much better informed and impacted by these horrific events. We appreciated the multilingual audio tour that could be done at your own pace.

Excellent museum that conveys the horrors that took place during that period of European history. May that madness never happen again!

Must go if you have a museum pass and/or you haven't seen any other Concentration camp!

Getting here is a challenge on weekends as the direct bus doesn't run. I took a OV bike and the ride was scenic. The history is well laid out with enough reasoning for why the Dutchies contributed to this (horrific) place. If you have been to Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland, this is very mild version of it. If you are starting to learn about concentration camps , its a place to start with to get an idea of how Jews were tortured.
The 'opa' and 'oma' at the reception were very kind, sweet and friendly. Guided me on the phone about transportation since bus was not there , took care of my luggage as the short film was starting soon and had a nice feedback conversation at the end with me.
The museum also has a cosy cafe.

Impressive to be there and read about the tragic what happened during a short period. The voice guided tour is very extensive. Walk to the execution side and building 1b. All and all it takes almost a day.

This place was amazing. I had a guided tour, and the guide was very nice. He took us around everywhere. We stopped at many significant points and were given lots of interesting information.
The whole tour took around 2 or more hours.
Beware, a lot of it is outside, and therefore you should make sure the weather is not rainy.
Overall, I definitely recommend coming here.

Must stop when you are in the neighborhood. Informative museum about the history of world war 2 and deportation of Jews out of Netherlands.
