Very busy and famous pastry shop, famous for the 'Bosche Bol', which is a pastry filled with whipcream and covered in chocolate.
Staff isn't so friendly even in the early morning; they will not look you in the eye when having a conversation.
Would still recommend eating a Bosche Bol here.

I had asked the front desk of my hotel (The Den) for the best sweets they could recommend. They sent me here to buy their kisses. The shop is very organized. Boght the kisses and they are absolutely amazing. Filled with chocolate, rich and so smooth. If you like chocolates get some and you will surely love them. Also got some great stroopwafels. Worth a visit if you have a sweet tooth.

Went here thanks to a friends recommendation and my god was the trip worth it. The pastries are amazing and I couldn’t get enough. My friend told me to try their Bosche Bols which are these chocolate covered hollow balls with the most heavenly cream filled inside them. Absolutely blown away by how good the bols were and will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in the Netherlands.

Great dessert! Thanks to one of my dearest friends, who was born in s’Hertogenbosch, I found out about the famous dessert with chocolate and cream inside. It was a great choice, that sweetened the rainy weather. I recommend to everyone who searches for a great walk in a silent and airy place to visit this city and to try this famous dessert! ❤

Heard about this bakery from a relative in the south but never got the chance to visit it until today. Nice baked goods and very friendly staff.

The Bossche bol is one the best pastries in the Netherlands and this place is the most famous. Incredibly fresh cream covered with a think layer of chocolate. Furthermore they got much more cakes and pastries of high quality. A must visit when going to Den Bosch, if you come with a larger group reserve in advance or expect lines. Their worth the wait 👍

Super yummy sandwiches and pastries here! They have two levels on the inside which makes for a good amount of space and room. It will get very busy though so plan ahead for this, and try for non-popular hours to swing by. And don’t walk away without having a Bosch ball!! It’s their speciality, a chocolate covered pastry filled with yummy creme. So good!

This is where you can taste the famous bosche bollen ( like a big chocolate pastry, full of whipped cream)
I think this a must go if you are a tourist nearby and love sweets.
There are also other kinds of cakes and pastries which looks also nice but most people come here for the chocolate ball.

The Bossche Bol is legendary to the local residents. So you must try it before you leave. This establishment was recommended to us by a local living all the way in Amsterdam. He grew up with the Bossche Bol and promised us to return one back. The establishment offers many more pastries and hot drinks with place to sit.

When you ever visit 's-Hertogenbosch or simply Den Bosch?
Go to this confectionary "De Groot"(in front of trainstation) and ask for "Bossche Bollen"! 😋

A famous and delicous choclate fondant pastry filled with fresh whipped cream!

I'm pretty sure you'll ask for more?😄
And don't forget to bring some for your family, the will not don't disappointend you!
Eet smakelijk! = enjoy your meal!

And when you leave the shop don't forget to say goodbye in Dutch: "Houdoe!" Like in English "How do"

The town specialty "Bossche Bol" is a great choice. The staff is very friendly. We could take our little dog inside were they even offered her a bowl of water. A must visit if you are in town!

Before going to Den Bosch I checked some blogs and all of them were recommending the bossche bollen from Jan de Groot, so I didn't resist and also I didn't regret. It was very good and went very well with coffee. If you go to Den Bosch is a must go place, the attendants were nice, it didn't take long although it was very crowded. Besides, it's close to the central station so you can pass by when arriving or leaving the city.

Get off at the train station. Walk half a block to this shop. Get the local specialty. Proceed to eat it along a main Street, overhear people mutter it's name as they pass you. Have a shopkeep offer you a spoon to eat it more delicately. Welcome to Den Bosch.

The Bossche bol does not disappoint. The cream is perfectly unsweet, avoiding the sogginess of plain whipped cream. The pastry layer is thinner than normal profiteroles, avoiding the anticipated squish mess. The chocolate layer is pliable and sticks to the pastry and melts in your mouth and makes it oh so sweet. Room temp is the way to go.
I don't know if they make seasonal variations, but it would be heavenly to do some flavored creams, like strawberry or orange, or to sprinkle some things atop, like candy cane powder.

They lived up to the reputation. We tasted several different Bosschebollen in town and these were among the best.
