My wife had a delivery here, Everything went well, Many thanks to the hospital, Doctors and the staffs. A big shoutout to the staff especially Jolene and others ( names I don’t remember). You guys made our day

Absolutely wonderful experience! Had to come here as husband had a swelling in the arm and it had to be drained. The nurse and doctor were friendly, kind. The attention to detail and follow up has been a wonderful experience. Everyone spoke in English which was really helpful and a bonus 🌟

I normally don't share service review but felt true service dedication should be acknowledged and recognized.
I would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who had helped improve my daughter's health.
You are living example of true service and dedication. You made us feel secure and safe in a new country!! True nightingale service.
From a facility perspective Spaarne Gasthuis Haarlem Zuid is really good.
Today when I am leaving this hospital to home Spaarne Gasthuis Haarlem Zuid would be remembered for that
wonderful service experience even during the tough days!!

very nice service. clean nice come wait time a little long. I was with my woman several times in this hospital and each time we had to wait even for 3 hours, but the rest was a big plus. You can speak Dutch and English without any problems. Kind staff always asks whether to serve tea and will always help.

I have had to use the hospital numerous times for my sons allergy and every time it has been a wonderful experience. We just left after an allergy challenge and I was nervous as the last experience (in a different country) was traumatic to say the least) but we were treated kindly, patiently and it was no issue to speak to us in English which I greatly appreciate

My wife gave birth in this hospital. It had to become medical birth with gynecologist intervention. Fortunately It all went well. We had to be back few days later because our baby had jaundice and we also had dealings with the ER, neonatology department and the care for the regular babies. I couldn’t be happier and more impressed by the professionalism and kindness of everyone that treated my wife and my daughter along the way. I am specifically thankful to the caring attitude of the nurses in the neonatology department who showed a lot of human support during a stressful moment for us. Joyce, Elly, Teddy, Bea, just to name a few but they were ALL wonderful.

The below problems were solved in the meantime in a very professional way. There is no more need for only 1 star. The treatment I got there now a few times is very good, clear explanations are given. Advice and support are offered and given. Specialty skills of the staff are great. As this is what I expect and as all problems were solved, I give 5 stars.

Spaarne Ziekenhuids Haarlem Zuid, in my opinion a disaster. Was there today for wound care. Nurse was quite arrogant, telling me that I walked too much, well, I sit on the sofa learning the whole day, but she believed to know it better.

Then she kind of ordered me to speak a proper English in a tone that I will not accept. At first, I am not responsible for her lack in English skills. Second, what will such a nurses do when someone from Texas, Louisiana, Northern. Ireland or Scotland comes? Not treating g that person because she does not understand anything. Third, I don't want to talk about the English language skills of many of your staff members. Or was it because I'm a non-national?

To say it honestly: this is not acceptable in a member state of the European Union in the year 2020. And especially in a country that is so proud that they teach English as a second language from the earliest possible moment. Taking this into consideration, such a behaviour is a no-go. I will send a complaint to members of the Tweede Kamer and to the Minister for Health.

My wife delivered a girl here in June. The staffs were very kind, caring and competent. We started in the 2nd floor there and got worried as the facility and place looked a bit outdated, with the staffs very busy with other tasks. Her water already broke, we had no way to move to another hospital.
But once we are moved to the kraamsuite on the 3rd floor, their kind and caring support started. The staffs gave us close and meticulous care. What's even better was the kraamsuite itself. It was very clean, spacious and well equipped. My wife could relax there ready for delivery.
We will never forget the care and the kindness the staffs have given to my wife and our baby.

My husband had surgery here, and we are so grateful to the all the staff involved, they were wonderful; so kind and patient. Thank you!

Listed as number 1 hospital in The Netherlands in 2016, ranked by a Dutch newspaper. Enough parking spaces. Goodlooking interior.

Ik was hier met mijn dochter van 3 omdat ze een zondagsarmpje had. We werden snel en super professioneel geholpen. Mijn dochter is zelfs niet meer bang voor ziekenhuizen en artsen, ondanks de pijn. Begrijp dat je als ouder persoon (zelf hier ook meegemaakt) wat langer moet wachten maar zo is het als je niets heel ernstigs hebt. De mensen die hier werken zijn gewoon zeer aardig en professioneel.

Gezien de negatieve reacties hierbij mijn reactie.
Ik heb 14 jaar gewerkt in het Spaarne Gasthuis en ook helaas met regelmaat patiënt geweest.
Voor de fusie met Hoofddorp was het ziekenhuis een top ziekenhuis met uitstekende zorg en top artsen.
Na de fusie is de kwaliteit van zorg achteruit gegaan. Niet door het personeel en artsen maar de organisatie in de top heeft de kwaliteit kapot gemaakt. Het is nu bekken dicht en werken en dat is merkzaam aanwezig.
Desondanks blijft het wel mijn ziekenhuis en ex-collega's.

Ik ben hier aan mijn hernia geopereerd.
Iedereen was super lief tegen mij zowel op de OK als op de verpleegafdeling.
De verpleegkundige gaf me chocolade omdat ik trek kreeg. Ze gaf me ook een banaan en vla.
Wel jammer dat er geen vegetarisch avondeten was maar een vriendelijke jongen van de afdeling heeft alsnog wat spinazie, aardappelen en een omelet bij elkaar kunnen sprokkelen.
De operatie was een succes. Ik heb totaal geen pijn meer. Hulde!

Ik kom al sinds 2020 in het Spaarne in Hoofddorp en Haarlem Zuid en Noord. Meermaals per jaar voor controles en behandeling. Nog nooit problemen gehad betreft dienstverlening. Zeer tevreden. Iedereen is altijd vriendelijk.

Wegens overvolle ziekenhuizen moesten we noodgedwongen naar het Spaarne Gasthuis Haarlem met onze 10 dagen oude zoontje Dion. Ik zag er tegen op want in wat voor ziekenhuis zouden we terecht komen. We kwamen midden in de nacht aan, en jeetje wat een gastvrije verwelkoming zeg. Ontzettend betrokken, zorgzaam naar kind maar ook ouders. Ik mag bij hem op de kamer blijven en we worden echt super verzorgd. Verpleegsters stuk voor stuk toppertjes, alsof het allemaal tantes zijn. Zo ontzettend betrokken en lief! Hele transparante communicatie in de beoordelingen en ziektebeeld van ons zoontje, en geen risico nemen. Al is er weer plek in onze regio, laat mij maar hier. Echt petje af voor de Kinderafdeling!

De grootste complimenten voor alle medewerkers van de afdeling neurologie! Mensen, heel erg hartelijk bedankt voor alle goede zorgen, gezelligheid, goede raad, ondersteuning en hulpvaardigheid!Ziekenhuis is nooit leuk, maar als het moet, zal ik altijd voor jullie kiezen. Nogmaals DANK!

Vandaag mocht ik voor een coloscopie naar de locatie Haarlem Zuid. Normaal gesproken ga ik naar een van de Leidse ziekenhuizen en wij waren aangenaam verbaast hoe wij behandeld zijn. M Wat een vriendelijke mensen zeg. In een woord geweldig. Als ik dan toch naar een ziekenhuis moet laat het dan het Spaarne zijn. De Leidse ziekenhuizen kunnen hier een voorbeeld aan nemen!
