Super nice place on of Leiden canals, not to touristic and has a pleasant vibe. Friendly staff, nice menu card for a drink and bite with your friends or family. Cheers!

Fantastic food, beyond any expectations we had, and a very speedy service on top! We read the comments about slow serving so we made sure to ask the waiter how long making our order will take before placing any orders. He said 20 minutes and then actually brought food out done faster!

We got out starters in a very timely fashion, and as soon as we were done with those, they brought the main course out. The food was very fresh - you could taste it in the fries that they were fried on the spot, the fish tasted impeccable and so did the duck. Some of the freshest-tasting food I had in the Netherlands. Really good place to eat after a fun day in the Hortus!

Good variety of food options. Good quantity for the price.

Excellent location for afternoon lunch. Had the burger (very, very good) and my wife had the soup of day (mustard soup - a strange but a very tastey). Would recommend eating outside (weather permitting) close to the canal - Just watch for the incline of the chairs and table.

This is well worth a visit, a quiet spot on the canal side with lots of tables. Lunch and dinner menus, our lunch was excellent theres no hurry here, you can watch the world go by

A lovely cafe right at the side of a pretty canal. An excellent place for coffee and cake.

Staff are friendly and food is amazing. I went here two days in a row for lunch. One can eat either outside by the canal or in the inside area.

Affordable, welcoming staff. Delicious food. Before lunch time it's very relaxing, but at lunch time it is very busy.
