Arriving at an oases of peaceful ambiance and green ecological vibes with calmly playing music in the background. Here we had a great lunch of fine and very good balances tastes. Staff was really nice and located on the edge, but not too far from the center and close by parking. We will definitely come back to try dinner.

Nice place with great food. Went there for lunch and sat outside at the water. Prices are reasonable (at least the lunch menu).

Lunch was great, we chose the four surprise dishes, to share for two people, the quantity was enough for lunch and price was really good. We definitely recomend it.

Brasserie de Poort is a stylish and modern, yet warmly inviting restaurant nestled in the edge of the binnenstad of Leiden. Its youthful staff is as vibrant as the city itself. Diners can enjoy the charming terrace on sunny days, enhancing the overall dining experience, watching the boats go by in the canal. The tapas-style servings promote shared enjoyment, allowing you to sample a variety of dishes. The standout performers were undoubtedly the tender pig's cheek and the succulent bavette. The slow serving pace is a deliberate choice, fostering an atmosphere of leisurely conversation. With a choice of 3 or 4 tapas dishes per menu, there's something for everyone. It's a place that left me thoroughly impressed and keen to return.

A place in great surroundings and cool interior design. The food is diverse and very good. The personnel is attentive and friendly. A hefty dinner with wine will be approx 50 EUR per person. Will definitely come back here again

Lovely spot on the water in Leiden, have been there now three times but this last visit was for just coffee which was unfortunately disappointing. Perhaps the barista was out-of-sorts that day as previously food, coffee and service were excellent.
