Beautiful lighthouse located on an amazing island. It's worthy to step in!

A very beautiful place. Very beautiful view. Very nice staff Julia. Nice and friendly girl, she told us everything.

There is a picturesque view from the top of this historical tower. Climbing up is little tricky through narrow and steep iron stairs. It takes a good effort to reach at top but very much worth shedding a pound of your fat and wallet. Make sure you wear good non slippery footwear.

I got engaged up there 💜 so for me this is more then beautiful place. This was our second time up. So nice, interesting, the highest point of Ameland. Price is so low for what you get there. One tip - try to go there in opening time from 20 to 22h because sunset is sooo goood. Love love ❤❤

Beautiful Lighthouse! Haven't made it all the way up but also enjoyed the lighthouse from the outside. If you come here by bike you'll see the lighthouse from miles away.

Veeerery beautiful, gorgeous views

This is a functioning lighthouse that doubles as a lighthouse museum in Hollum on the west end of Ameland. The information about the origins of the lighthouse has been portrayed nicely. It's a good climb to the top with the rooms to the top filled with interesting paintings and artifacts. The views are terrific from the top. Outside there is some sit out space to grab a quick bite . Recommended to visit if in Ameland.

It's a nice experience to visit this particular light house to know the year it was built and the king who commissioned it and why it was even established in the first place. I will strongly urge tourists who visit Ameland to go to the lighthouse. In general, Ameland is an Island worth visiting. It has wonderful scenes and sights to always remember coupled with the rhythmic roaring of the sea. The Island has wonderful facilities especially the accommodation. The people on this Island are very friendly and hospitable. I love Ameland and i know you'll also love it too👍 Ameland here we come.....

Love this Place, love this island!!! The one and only lighthouse worldwide! ! And you can climb the stairs to have the best view ever!!! So beautiful!

In my opinion one of the most beautiful structures there is. It still has the atmosphere of the old days, that a lighthouse was still really important. Every time I'm on Ameland, I need to get on the lighthouse. I can easily enjoy the view there for a few hours. A visit to Ameland is only complete, once I have been to the lighthouse

Lots of steps to climb to the top, the view is worth the climb. Tall people need to mind their head. Not an ideal place to visit for people with fear of heights.

Beautiful lighthouse by the beach. Beautifully maintained. With paid access to the top (236 steps) and exhibits on each level.

This place was incredible. Necessary to go during an extreme wind to entice rush. Well worth the 5.50 euro.

Very nice, was here as a kid many years ago. Now here with my own kids. Recommended place to visit.
