The Sunset Beachclub at Hollum Ameland, is a really cozy place directly over the dunes on the beach. The menu is extensive and the crew nice and helpful. Fully recommend, beware you might need to make a reservation.

Honestly surprised by the bad reviews of this place. The food and drinks are really good and the prices are a bit on the high side (think 20-25 euros for lunch, 15euro for a cocktail, 6-7 euro for beer or wine) but normal beach restaurant prices in my view.

The most romantic spot on Ameland. Best sunset of the Netherlands! Friendly staff, they serve superb cocktails! The beach is wide and relatively quiet. The famous lighthouse is near by. It is also a wedding location, which they manage perfectly: "Anything goes, just tell us what we can do for you".

Lovely restaurant on the beach with lovely bonfires on the terrace, ordered bitter ballen and had beer, to be recommended

Great experience! Fantastic location, cozy sofas. The prices are adequate for the special location, not sure why anyone would complain about them. You gotta pay the view people! The staff was quick, competent and super helpful when we moved from the table to the sofas. Ordering via the app worked absolutely fine! The nachos with pulled chicken, absolutely delicious and easy to share for 4 as a solid snack! We will come again! 👍🏻Thanks to the staff, good work!

We had a very nice meal here. I believe their menu when it says "best burger on Ameland". It was very good, and the fish and chips was also of high quality. A little bit pricy, but that's to be expected given the location.
Good service and helpful with our 6 month old in tow. We didn't need a reservation, but still got a very good edge table looking out over the beach.
Would definitely return on our next visit.

Great location and friendly professional staff. Worthy of a visit especially if you can get a seafront table like we did, the view is spectacular.

Super cozy location with amazing beach view, for colder day they have heaters on every table plus can turn on fire in middle if needed. Bit pricy but worth it.

Pricy but perfect to sit when it's a bit colder outside. The terrace has glass and heaters which fakes the looks and feel of a bright and warm sun shining down on you. Very nicely done. Somehow it made us feel the alcohol in the drinks more than expected.
The 'Corona-maatregelen' are well done here. I think it's a safe place to be.

It doesn't get much better than dining right above the waves with space heaters to keep us toasty warm.

Cozy fire on the beach while we waited for takeaway meals, gluhwijn, hot chocolate, and oliebolen. Incredible views!

Nice place to visit, dogs are allowed both on the beach as in the beach pavilion. It’s a bit windy just like everywhere on the beach in the Netherlands.
