Restaurant Parkhotel Valkenburg

Old fashioned hotel with more than 100 years history. Location is good, walk distance to the city center and tourist attractions. The staff are kind and friendly, at first in our room, the door to the bathroom was broken, then the staff helped to upgrade the room for free. We had busy schedule and didn’t enjoy the sauna and swimming pool, but I saw many people going to 1st & 2nd floor for sauna and swimming, I guessed they were good. We had a very good experience here and recommended this hotel.

Lovely hotel with great rooms, friendly & helpful staff, excellent location and superb breakfast. We loved it here and will certainly come back. Staff made us feel very welcome!

We fell in love with the hotel, it’s location and ambience. The spa and walls would need some care and refurbishment but in view of its historical charm it does not bother at all.

We had a super vacation in Valkenburg. Staff is super friendly, our room was small but cozy. We had a beautiful view too!!! Rooms and hallway are a bit outdated but has it's charms too? I loved breakfast as it has everything, literally everything you want! Plus a beautiful view of Valkenburg. The staff is flexible, nice and thinks about everything. The room was affordable as it was in summer?? We definitely want to come back as we enjoyed the atmosphere of this old hotel. Hotel is near the city centre!

everything was wonderful and we were very satisfied - it was so good. Very nice room, a warm wellness room, a superb swimming pool, and a perfect breakfast. All the people we met (good communication with dutch guests during our stay), especially all of the staff, were so nice and helpful.

Everything was clean, happy friendly staff, perfect location about 15min walk to the center.

Parkhotel is a nice hotel build on a mountain. There is a lot of parking space. Inside The inside of the hotel is beautifull. The basic room we had was not big, bit had everything we needed. A big plus was the showen, not all hotels have good showers, this one was great.

Beautiful Classic Hotel. Also modern and elegant. We had a huge Room. The Pool and spa area is really nice and clean. Breakfast Buffet is is fantastic.

Stayed in the Parkhotel with my partner for a few days while exploring South Limburg and attending an Andre Rieu concert in Maastricht. Highlight of our stay was a fabulous meal in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is large and the ambience relaxed. The food was exquisite and the service superb - compliments to the excellent chef!
The hotel also arranged our tickets for dinner at the concert and provided a dedicated coach transfer to/from Maastricht before & after the concert which was very efficient and meant we didn't have to organise our own transport. Indeed the coach driver gave us a entertaining tour of the picturesque countryside en route to Maastricht which was very welcome!
One tip would be to avail of the hotel's bicycles and enjoy exploring the surrounding countryside which is beautiful. We enjoyed a leisurely day out stopping off for a coffee or beer in any of the myriad small villages within easy reach of Valkenburg.
We also enjoyed the hotel's spa facilities and swimming pool and were very happy with the excellent service provided by the friendly staff. Our room was recently refurbished and very clean and comfortable, whilst the property itself reflects it's history and whilst not the most modern in every respect it has a certain charm and quirkiness which you won't find in your standard modern hotel.

A bit outdated but otherwise nice hotel. Their catering staff was kind enough to prepare some vegan food for me, which I'm very thankful for! 🙏

Location is short walk from the town centre refurbished room excellent good staff and good food a few niceties missing extra towels for swimming pool and some toiletries would have been nice. Overall excellent

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff. We liked the small spa and really enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and the big breakfast.

Great place to stay if you want to enjoy Valkenburg and cycle to the hills. They also have materials for your bicycles
