Restaurant Shirak (Proeflokaal)

Good Armenian restaurant in the city center of Den Bosch.
The owner is a very friendly woman but she appears to only speak English.
The food is very tasty and the food is also very affordable.
The restaurant is also open as a karaoke bar on some days during the week.

Really nice restaurant that is very good in it's price range (about 35 euros for a 3 course meal excl drinks, at the time of writing). Never had Armenian before, but it's very tasty! Interesting food that is quite different to what I ever had, but still makes sense to western sensibilities. The ambiance was great. The Armenian music in the background was nice, but not too distracting. The server was absolutely fantastic, making all kinds of jokes and genuinely increasing the experience. Definitely a place I'm planning on going back to!

Myself and my sister dined here and got the tasting menu, one vegetarian, one fish, and we could not have been more impressed. The service, the food and the atmosphere were all top-notch, and we are keen to come back to try the other dishes soon. Honestly, even just the bread and dips were stellar and set the tone for how great the rest of the food was.

Delicious food, especially the Armenian bread basket! Enthusiastic owner who takes the time to explain what each dish contains. Cozy atmosphere with beautiful video images of Armenia being shown.

Very Delicious, Tasty and Healthy. Also a perfect place during Christian fasting period

This is a gem! First time Armenian food. When we had the starter, we immediately decided that this is a place to come back to. The picture is of the starter. When the other courses were served, we totally forgot to take a picture, we just wanted to enjoy the food!

Everything was great there except they needed a little extra help my husband had to wait for almost 25 minutes while they helped a big party table that came in after us.

The food was amazing we loved it. It was wonderful all the dishes and herbs you could taste the time put into the food.

Delicious dishes. Really good food. We had a really good evening. We ate 4 different dishes all vegetarian. Really good food. Also the owner with his wife and son are really frendly. I lived he served the dishes with slippers and his son in shorts. Just regular people that serve good delicious food. We enjoyed every thing. To bad the windows are partly blocked with stuff so it's hard to see from the outside how good this restaurant is.

Authentic Armenian restaurant! Lovely atmosphere and tasty food. We will definitely be back!

It was the first time having armenian cuisine and I gotta say it didn't disappoint. The flavors in the food were exquisite, armenian beer and lemonade was a different taste altogether making you want more. The owner has a nice charm about him in bringing the food to life and the wonderful stories of Armenia.(I'm quite convinced to go there now :)) Highly recommend trying out this wonderful cuisine !!

Very nice restaurant with great and tasty food. You need a resevation, but it was no problem when I made it while sitting by the table already.
The 2/3/4 dishes menu was a suprise and it was a nice suprise, very diverse and different from western europe's cuisine.
Highly recommend this restaurant, it Has vegan options also.

I've dined here a few times when they were open for sit-down meals and it was always great. Now, during the lockdown, we decided to order from Shirak for take-away and it was the best meal we've had in months. Full of flavour, vegetarian, and a royal portion.

Very good restaurant. I visited it with my vegan girlfriend and they could serve us very well! We chose the surprise menu and ate delicious! The waiter was very kind and very helpful. Everytime he brought us food we got a little explaination with it :).
