Jack's Foodbar

We had an excellent late lunch early dinner here. Did was unique and tasty. We opted for the three course adventurous menu. It started with a very good steak tartar, followed by a unique kohlrabi dish and finished with fish. All very good. Service was great.

Cozy and unique restaurant. Location is convenient, close to the station and downtown area. I picked the vegetarian dish and I was surprised with the contrast and depth of flavors. All of the options are visually appealing. Service is great as well! Our waiter was super attentive. It is a good place for a calmed and casual lunch or dinner.

And again! Second time in this year and the quality is just better and better! Well done!

Beautiful fine dining restaurant in s’Hertogenbosch. We had a four course menu for lunch. Dishes were all very fine and prepared with great attention to detail.

Great little find - not in the road full of restaurants, but slightly off the beaten track - super friendly service and great beers. We had the 2 most popular dishes - Eggs by Jacks and De Zeeuwse Italian - both were really large and very tasty portions. A definitive must if you visiting the town.

In town for the Bosch parade. Beautiful spot. Staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We went with the 4 course chefs menu. Should have done then 5! Food was that good! Highly recommended.

The food was absolutely fantastic , we had 6 courses and the last time I tasted food that good ot was in a Michilin started restaurant in the UK. Evie the waitress was lovely and the rest of the staff couldn't have done better. I will definitely return.5 stars... The beer was first rate too.

We enjoyed our lunch at Jack's food bar very much. The food is simple but prepared and served in a sophisticated way. It was nice and tasty and the service was great too.

If you visit Den Bosch and need a place to eat... look no further: Jack's Foodbar should be it!

I can personally testify that the meals have been passing the Kock's Taste Test... from the Seafood Gumbo that brought me back to the islands, to the Beef Brisket that reminds me of that one time I tried to make it myself (I know the skill required) and all the sides. Yes, even the sides of each dish (not only the not dutch potatoes, also the vegetables, and the mousy sauce - tasty and fluffy, yes a sauce can be fluffy ) surpassed my expectation.

At Jack's they don't narrow their focus on one part, they ensure everything is great... making everything from scratch (i've seen the big bones being prepped to make bone broth) so that the complete meal is wholesomely comfortingly heartwarming...

And not only the food but also the people working there are hearty! A chat with the Chefs about the dishes, a peak in the kitchen admiring the coal-oven-whatever-you-call-an-indoor-charcoal-oven (genius for this dutch weather), and a really cool startup story from the founder who's concept... (give her a visit, ask her all about it!)

Definitely on my top 3 in Den Bosch. I usually go for the adventure menu and I am never disappointed. Heavenly and creative food. Menu changes now and then, so it's somewhere that never gets boring. Try pairing the food with the wine, staff is very knowledgeable and kind, and will give you great suggestions!

I was there on 2704 Saturday with a friend , in fact I just booked the table on Sat morning. Initially I was looking for 18:00's table but I couldn't book as it seems fully booked. Eventually I booked 17:30 and we got a nice seat. The service is very heart warming and friendly. The dishes are very good, I have been to Sense in Den Bosch but I think Jack's food bar could compete Sense . Didn't order wine pairing but the single glass Merlot (from France) is very good to match the dishes. I should order the wine pairing menu to match my dishes for next time. It is not just a bar as the name says, it is a bar with a restaurant spirit and food. Worth the price and I wish to go there again soon!

Super friendly staff and cosy ambiance! The food is delicious and original. We took the 5 courses adventure menu with 4 wines. It was just perfect. The dessert wine is to die for. I strongly recommand and would happily return next time I visit den Bosch.

Went to this cozy spot with work. Delicious food, good wine menu and excellent service. We all had a 4 course menu and they really had no problems serving something else for people with food allergies etc.

Great food, really good service and the price is good, considering the quality of the food. The barfood they recently added to the menu is a great idea, for people who don't want just one main dish but want to mix it up a bit.

Great food, a lot of different ingredients mixed superbly and nicely presented.
For this price it is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been. Would recommend vividly.

Great experience! The staff is super friendly and the food they serve is worth every penny that you spend. They also have some lovely beers on tap.

Went here with 3 friends for lunch. Really nice place with friendly staff, and most importantly good food and a nice selection of beers. Haven't eaten anything here besides lunch but would definitely recommend.
