Augusta Hotel

The room was really cute and with comfortable amenities, like a small fridge and complimentary fan during the hot summer months.
As we had an early excursion (6:30AM) the following day, we couldn't take part in the breakfast which only starts at 8AM, but the hotel offered the picnic package with one bag per person that you can pick up yourself from a cooler by the door
That was pretty cool!

I can't express enough what a lovely hotel this is, with kind and welcoming staff.
We stayed here after an accident meant we missed our sailing home. The staff did everything they could go help me be comfortable when I was in pain.
I would definitely stay here again. 5 stars is not enough to vote!

Lovely old hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with whatever I asked. Food is a high standard as well. My room wasn’t the most up to date, bit of road noise as well. Other then that everything was amazing. Good location as well. Bus stop right next to it, train station 15 minute bike ride. Would love to go back.

Staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet and restaurant offered a good range of food. The hotel is in a great location and only a short 15min bike ride from the train station which you can then catch a train to Amsterdam or wherever.
They even offer some earplugs for the noisy crowd outside😂

Beautifully restored hotel. Location is great if you want to be in Ijmuiden - handy for the ferry, good for pottering round the docks, easy bus to the beach. I not sure its ideal for a long holiday, unless you're really keen on industrial ports but great for a few days or en route to or from Amsterdam.

Wonderful food, stylish and clean entourage, warm, friendly and professional service.
Prices might be a bit steep, but you get very good food in return. The dishes are original, well-dressed, colourful and well-balanced.
Especially the appetisers were a pleasant surprise as they were a delicious flavour explosion.
Their red house wine is also very recommendable.
The couple who run the establishment are friendly and know their food well.
Overall a very satisfying experience, and would love to visit this restaurant again to celebrate a special occasion.

Beautiful hotel, brilliantly restored to its 1930's glory. Wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant and bar. Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Will certainly return.

It's so peaceful here, a nice and quiet place. The friendly staff, no elevator, so got help from the staff to take my luggage to room. Nice and big bathroom though room a bit smaller. Train from Schiphol to Haarlem, taxi from Haarlem to Hotrl , 20 minutes drive.

Except for the small room, and the staircases, i find it a little narrow for my steps…staff were very service-minded.

Such a cozy, nice place with friendliest staff, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, good bicycles to cruise around, maatjes broodje around the corner and close to the beach - of you find the way through the dunes :-D

We had a perfect family dinner here: menu is great, friendly staff, nice service.

The staff is extremely friendly, rooms are nice and clean, free parking infront of the hotel.

I was there 4 times and each my visit everything was OK. Clean rooms, helpfull staff. See You all next time

We had a very nice dinner here. The both the starter and the main course we're very tasty.

Nice room, I arrived too late for dinner, but the staff brought me a really good sandwich.

Fantastic hotel / restaurant in the old part of IJmuiden. The old part that has seen many renovations lately. Next to the harbor. Nice to see andere walk around.

Always good. There's a grumpy waitress who doesn't like us, though, but the owners and other staff are kind, and wonderful.
