Even though they were crowded, service was prompt and friendly. Food was delicious!

Went for lunch and had the Philly cheesesteak and meatballs, one of the best we have had! High quality ingredients and very tasty

I was at the restaurant during a business trip and really enjoyed the (in my eyes) extravagant cuisine with amazing flavours. So my group and I had a famous dish that consisted of sushi with fried shrimps on top of it and delicious desserts. I was grateful to get orange juice at that time of the day. I'll definitely come back!

Iconic historic restaurant with large atmospheric outdoor seating area. Indoors it's modern. If you want to sleep here, make sure the trams don't bother you too much. They're noisy.

The dinner was very delicious and exquisite!
I had a Thai chicken soup at the beginning which fitted perfect as a starter in size and flavour. As main dish I got a steak and vegetables, the steak was of high quality. The dessert, a special kind of chocolate-caramel cake (sorry, cannot describe it more precisely. You can see it in the pictures) was a dream, although quite rich (could have been a bit smaller for reasons of healthiness :P).

I really do like this restaurant. Not too far from central station. The terrace is really nice, the food is good. Some persons in the staff are really nice and smiling, some others, not really. I smile cost nothing...but I will let a 5 stars review for the general context .

Had the easter breakfast experience, which was surprisingly good. I expected standard things like buns, some croissants, eggs and various bread toppings but no! They even had donuts, a whole section of desserts (red velvet, cheese cake, a chocolate fountain for the strawberries and marshmallows, carrot cake etc) the breakfast or brunch also came with kroketten, salmon, egg salad, scrambled eggs and one drink included with some fresh orange juice. Very satisfied with the experience, various amounts of food and the price.

We had an amazing lunch. It was very tasty. Good beer and wine. The service was very friendly. The terras outside is very comfortable. We come back for sure.

We stopped by this place for a quick bite. The beer drinks we ordered were ice cold hence so refreshing after a long walk at the Centrum area.

The bitterballen and cheese sticks we ordered were delightfully good!

Just a perfect hotel with an awesome terrace. Awesome, tasty and hight quality food and an impeccable, very friendly service provided by relaxed and smiling experts.

Great restaurant. Their food is very tasty and we've been there 20 times or more now. The way to order via scanning a code is buggy though, and the app's English translation is pretty bad. You can order at the waiter too.

Wait for a table, do not skip this place. Very busy and for good reason. The food was everything you wanted when you read the menu. The staff were all great. I will be bsck again soon

Food at the Gouden Hooft is delicious! I've eaten there twice. The first time the chicken sate and yesterday fish and chips. As a caribbean girl I would prefer my fish to have a bit more flavour and spices, however that's a personal preference. The ambiance and decor is warm and the staff is welcoming!

Nice place with sunny terrace. They have good breakfasts, different drinks and coffee. Service is also very attentive🥰

Fantastic place!!! Perfect for spending some time with friends. I'm not sure if in every Saturday is small live performers but lady who sing - OMG - SHE is amazing. Brilliant atmosphere, great service.

I come here often and the food is always excellent. I think overall better than in most of the restaurants in the neighborhood. The service is also very professional. The only downside is the service speed it can easily take 40-60 minutes to get your main course. So go in with the right expectations.

I have reserved a table for a big group. We were seated quickly and received great service alongside nice desserts. Not to mention the place looks absolutely fantastic. Thank you very much!

We've been trying different foods every single time and it's always amazing! Not an exaggeration, in my eyes. Tastes buds will always be tingled the right way, the textures mix superbly... I know it sounds like a strange way to write a review on Google, but the words don't do it justice! The food is just that good! And the service is on par! Hat's off!

Great food and service. Me and my family decided to get dinner after a long day of sightseeing and after that, we came back for 3 more! Employees were so friendly and polite. One minus why I could not give it 5 stars is that we had to wait 3 times in a row for a table, and although it was our own fault for not booking a table beforehand, it did affect pur mood having to wait for 30 min. On the other hand, staff did supply us with drinks and small snack while waiting. Overall opinion - worth to visit.
