They don't have a menu, but they will craft a cocktail based on your taste. So you just tell them what kind of taste you're up to and they'll make the best cocktail just for you! They taste amazing and they look amazing. If you're missing something, tell them and they'll ajust the cocktail until you'll have the best drink ever 😋

As a Big Green Egg hobby cook I had been keen for a long time to visit MeatCave to taste the results of a professional. I used my birthday as the opportunity to visit MeatCave in The Hague. Joelle and her team did not disappoint: what an excellent experience!
Our request during the reservation for a table as quiet as possible with respect to noise levels was well catered for; right in front of the kitchen so I could also closely monitor the chef juggling the 3 Big Green Eggs he was using.
Excellent food: very well prepared and tender, this is how meat is supposed to taste.
Additional value is delivered through the wine paring menu: very nice and surprising wines that match the food perfectly.
All of this is delivered through very friendly and knowledgeable service.
If you want to eat meat, MeatCave is the place to go.

Bricks... words can’t describe how amazing this place is. Bricks uses the Tailored Cocktails to sell you an experience of your lifetime. You tell them what flavours you like, and they make sure you get a drink like no one before. It’s all about the experience. Everywhere you go you probably order the same drink; the same food and you are comfortable with that. At Bricks this isn’t the case, it’s not even possible. They try to broaden your horizon and make you experience a drink like you never had.

Not only are the drinks fantastic, they are eco-friendly and aware of the impact we, as human beings, have on the environment. At bricks they use, and grow, their own herbs and use bamboo or metal straws in their cocktails. This isn’t everything, the flower decoration around the bar is also used for decoration and garnish of your drink, just amazing!

Eddy told us all about the philosophy of bricks and how he feels like the restaurants and bars can set the example of being eco-friendly and zero waste. Both of us felt inspired by him and his words. Now let’s talk about these art pieces they made for us. We ordered two cocktails one was based on a Mojito (with the rose, fruit and leaves) and the second one was Fresh, sweet and with a fruity flavour (with the feather).
Not only did we have 2 art pieces we got a charcuterie plank with olives, almonds and ham. After our first two cocktails we went for another two based on more tropical flavours. We got these beautiful looking cocktails, one in a moai head cup/pot and the other one in a tropical themed can with a rose and feather. All the cocktails tasted and looked amazing.

Never in our lives did we have such an amazing experience. We would recommend Bricks to everyone!

Formerly known as 'Meatcave', Big Green Egg (BGE) restaurant van de Leur has changed its formula to cater to a broader audience. The chef's menu that ranges from 3 to 7 courses serves a variety of fish, seafood and meat dishes that have all been cooked on the BGE barbeque in some way or other. We had lightly smoked seabream ceviche, flanksteak, scallops, pork belly, gurnet, chicken thigh and a lovely dessert with homemade ice-cream and grilled watermelon.

Some great drinks from cocktail bar Bricks (located in the same building) ensured a wonderful evening.

This is one of the best experiences The Hague has to offer. Cocktails are made based on your own tastes and preferences. I never know what to get in bars, but the bartender made me a delicious cocktail after telling him I like “sweet and fruity drinks.” All ingredients are fresh, and they make their own syrups. Half of the fun was watching them make the drinks. You can tell they really care about their customers and the experience. Staff was super friendly and able to provide information about the city as well. Finally, the bar provides free, filtered water and is environmentally friendly. Great place for a drink!

More than a cocktail bar, it’s an experience. Amazing drinks catered to your taste. They really know their craft and work hard to ensure you will be happy with your drink. Very relaxed atmosphere and they make you feel at home! Also, they serve free water and are environmentally friendly, a huge plus.

At last a great cocktail bar in The Hague. There were some places definitely getting it right but this is the next level. You come here for an experience. I pity the guy who arrived to meet friends and just jumped straight to the bar to order a beer. And got annoyed the bar staff were talking to guests rather than serving. If he’d taken a moment to “un-Dutch” , sit down with his friends and allow the crew to tell him about what they were about here he may have relaxed. in my opinion he missed out. But we sure didn’t!
This lot truely comes up with a tailored drink based on your input. Whatever you want they can do it and then better. Plus they do it in style with great service. We will be back!

What an awesomely well executed concept: combine fine dining with smokey green egg passion and amazing cocktails.
High quality food, laid back but very good service. The wine pairing is definitely recommendable, it's more than just non-conflicting or easy going, they really pick wines that complement the menu but are also great on their own. Trust the chef and the staff, you won't regret it.

Tailor made, high quality cocktails. Great staff! There is no menu, the bartender makes up a cocktail that fits your taste or mood.

We were there for the cocktail week the hague (3 people) the cocktails were amazing! I recommend the davey jones! What makes me fell in love with this place is the fact that you can order ANY cocktail! They can make it! If you want it sweeter, bitter or whatever they can do it. Loved the meatballs and the toast. Our server was a fabulous who made us laugh. Kudos to this place!

Came here on a whim and it was a very cool experience. It is a cocktail bar and they don't have a menu, but what they do is they will ask you what type of flavours you like and make a customised cocktail for you. It is a bit on the pricey side, but to be expected. The atmosphere is really hip and trendy, which is nice for a special occasion. Definitely will come back and recommend people to visit!

This was a nice quiet place, just name some things you like and they make you a surprise cocktail =). Luckily we liked all 4 surprises that we got =D

Amazing cocktail bar. Was a little skeptical with the 'no menu' situation but the bartender knows exactly what he's doing and managed to create some of the best tasting cocktails I've ever had from just a few hints of my likes and dislikes. He even managed to create something truly special from my unhelpful utterance of 'fancy rich pirate'. Also incredibly priced, I've paid twice as much for cocktails with a fraction of the skill and care. Hope this place goes from strength to strength and we'll definitely be back.

One of the best cocktail experiences I've had in Europe. The philosophy and experience of this bar far exceeds most places you find in the US. The "no menu" concept actually lives up to its promise and gets you what you want while getting you to also explore flavors you might otherwise miss or never know. Imagination, confidence, and execution. Much appreciated for the fantastic night Eddy!
